Excellent experience Boris the Guide great photographer and teller!! My wife and I enjoy the experience very much!! I will recoemnd this tour very much!!
excellent organization and availability, despite the evening did not promise well (cloudy), the stubbornness of our guide allowed us to admire one of the most beautiful shows of nature, the Northern Lights. Bravo
We had good weather and conditions were looking good for the evening- 12 of us booked around 2 pm and filled the remainder of tour bus for that night’s tour. Our guides Joana and Laura were bright and enthusiastic (“don’t move, don’t move” when taking our photos😂) , got us suited, booted and gloved and as soon as we were on the bus explained where we’d be going (& how long to get there). They took us to their “usual spot” (frozen lake with no trees for best viewing and photography)! We queue up orderly for our photos and could go for more photos of individuals after everyone had been through once. They were spot on and we had a blast - an hr on bus, a little over an hr of continuous aurora for over an hour and then back to Rovaniemi in an hour. Magical experience of Mother Nature. Photos uploaded on to their website (& we were told on way home how to find them!) that were taken by their photographer by morning. Stunning photos with to dancing lady (who at times was from one horizon across to the other horizon!) A MUST DO in Rovaniemi!!!
After our tour with another organizer was cancelled the day before, we were lucky enough to get three places on the "Aurora Hunting Photo Tour" at Safartica at short notice. Our guide Valentina was just great, took us to the best places and took impressive photos. We were expecting strong aurora borealis, which took our breath away. It couldn't have been better. We can only recommend this tour!
The guide was very nice and a very enthusiastic sister. The trip also saw very striking aurorae and took many good photos along the way, making it an unforgettable journey.
We made 4 excursions with this agency. Well-organized excursions: guided tours, thermal clothing and fun and exciting experiences
Good experience and quick aurora sightings, wish the tour lasted longer. The red and green aurora were spectacular to watch with naked eye
We know that the Northern Lights can never be guaranteed and that tours are guaranteed to be longer and more expensive – that’s exactly why we deliberately chose this tour. On our evening, however, it snowed heavily, the sky was completely covered, and it was clear from the start that no northern lights would be visible. Nevertheless, the tour was conducted without any indication or alternative. Only afterwards did we learn that there was generally no chance of the Northern Lights. Instead, photos were taken on a snow field, which were disappointing for us. The whole thing was annoying, as you could have saved a lot of frustration with better information in advance. We would have liked more honesty and transparency. The guide was nice and effortful, but the explanation about the Northern Lights was very concise.
After several attempts and an initially cloudy sky thanks to the patience and perseverance of the Safartica team we were able to see the Boreal Author!
Friendly and organized guides. They looked for the best sites for observation and spent enough time at each site.
