Samton (Sam) put together our Nairobi and Safari trip, and he was our guide while in Nairobi. He is phenomenal. He was very responsive leading up to the trip, during the trip, and even after we made it back stateside. While I am certain he had other clients, I felt like we were the only ones. He took care of EVERYTHING, and he made sure we felt comfortable, well taken care of, and pleased with each experience. I paid one fee and all my transportation, accommodations, in-Africa flights, and excursions (including the safari) were taken care of. Driving in Nairobi is quite the (often scary) experience, and I'm so grateful Sam was the one to transport us almost everywhere because I trusted him from the moment we first messaged. Also, we are outside/adventure travelers who also enjoy cultural experiences. We enjoy nice accommodations, but don't need them to be five star. If you want a different focus or level of stay, just tell him. He will build whatever kind of trip you want!

I have traveled the world and have had many tour providers, this was by far the best experience I've ever had! From the moment I reached out to book until I was dropped off at the airport, the experience was seamless and stress free. I missed my flight and Sam was flexible, giving me peace of mind. We did a safari in Nairobi, and the Masai Mara. There was glamping, the equator, Masai village, downtown Nairobi and a few unplanned stops. Sam and our driver James were knowledgeable and friendly the entire trip. Initially I thought I hired a tour provider, but I quickly realized I gained life long friends! My friend and I had a BLAST with Sam and our main driver, James! We were with Sam for the better part of a week and once we all got to know each other (around day 3), we became fast friends! What a genuine and great experience seeing both Nairobi and Maasai’s National Parks, the equator, glamping experiences and the culture of the locals. He was able to answer any questions my friend and I had, very knowledgeable, and kind. We can’t wait to see both Sam and James again!

Sam was a great guide. He was very understanding and even took his time to help us out with other matters outside of the tour. The trip was great and Sam and his colleague made sure we got to see the animals we wanted. They were very knowledgeable actually made the your fun. If you’re looking for a great person to take you on a tour and cater to your enjoyment, I would definitely go with this guy. I like to see good people good people and him and his colleague are great guys. I’ll definitely be back in Kenya and I’ll definitely be using Samton Safaris.

I recently traveled with a group of five people for about ten days, and the experience was nothing short of wonderful! From beginning to end, the service was impeccable. Sam listened carefully to our preferences and crafted a professional itinerary for us to review, edit, and confirm. Sam was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Sam introduced us to dawa, a local drink, to help us feel better. At my request, he made an unscheduled trip to the clinic and patiently waited for hours while I received treatment. It was our first time in Kenya and we wanted to do it all! I traveled with my husband and 2 children ages 6 & 8. Sam made sure absolutely everything was taken care of and took special consideration for my children. The camp we stayed at was top notch and service was excellent. Sam and his crew were very knowledgeable about the animals and where to spot them. When other tour companies were getting stuck in the mud, we were not as the driver had the best skills and good vehicle for the conditions. We felt very taken care of and safe throughout. He was so accommodating and flexible, willing to take pictures and videos for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend Sam and his team
