We had an amazing time travelling around to see the beautiful sights of Montenegro with our wonderful tour guide Vladimir Markovic. Vlado is an extremely intelligent, diligent and warm man who happily explained the history of his country as he travelled around. We felt more like we were travelling with an old friend rather than a tour guide as he explained everything in a manner than was as relatable as it was interesting. The country is absolutely beautiful and having had this tour we were certainly able to understand it a lot better. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re thrilled to hear that Vladimir made your Montenegro tour feel like a trip with an old friend, sharing his knowledge and passion so warmly. Montenegro is truly a beautiful country, and we’re glad you enjoyed exploring it with us and got to know its rich history better. Thanks again for choosing Mont Travelers — hope to see you back soon! We had a wonderful time even in the not so great weather!! Andrija was an amazing guide knowledgeable, very friendly and a great guide!! His love for his country and history was second to none!! Thanks again Andrija
We just completed the most memorable and enjoyable day trip with Dimitrije. After our initial discussions he put together the perfect daily itinerary whereby we got picked up at our Apartment and dropped us off at our new accomodation at Budva He was very knowledgeable about all elements of Montenegro history, culture and top places to visit for a memorable experience. our starting plan was to drive up through the 25 switchbacks - Njeguci- Cetinje and return via scenic route to Budva. We elected to add a visit to a small winery for tastings/ food and then a short boat ride at Skadar. The 2 hour winery stop off was an extraordinary experience - the location- the room ambience- the guided commentary and topped with an abundance of wine/ Liqueur and finished with Rakija—- this experience topped off an extraordinary day and I would recommend this company and tour to anyone with a full day available in Kotor or Budva - A world class experience and our best day since we started our worldwide travel adventure 7 months ago 100-100. Top marks Dimitrije and your company Mont Travel
Favorite part was personal attention given by the owner and our driver/guide Dimitrije. We chose this tour because it offered a ride with great views and no visits to churches, old buildings or city squares. We loved the views from the mountain top of the bay where our ship was docked. We made a spontaneous stop for local prosciutto, cheese, wine and brandy. The tour gave us an appreciation for a country we knew little about. We hope to visit again and will look for Dimitrije again.
Excellent day out to enjoy the Kotor fjords, panoramic roads and old capital. This tour gives a blend of the nature and history. My guide Dimitrije explained every point of interest in great details. View in Perast is great, must see the clock towers. And listen to the story of the island is fascinating, especially of “ Our Lady of the Rocks”. Driving on the serpentines is no easy task, Dimitrije nailed it smoothly, on the top of serpentines, the view of Kotor fjord is stunning. Cetinje as the old royal capital has many story to tell, from the old royal church to today’s sanctuary. Continuing south east, the nature greets us with astonishing views of the lakes and mountains. The village at the end of the river, is peaceful and have different feeling with other towns in Montenegro. Dimitrije arranged everything smoothly, and his driving is excellent, on this tour, you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the views! This tour is highly recommended for people who want to cover the coastline of Montenegro in one day!
Our travel itinerary covered: (1) Rijeka (2) Crnojevica (3) Kotor (4) Cetinje (5) Njegusi trip with the (6) Boat trip in the NP Skadar Lake, on river Crnojevic (7) 5:30 pm - Late lunch/early dinner at Masala Art Restaurant, Podegorica And we enjoyed every minute of it. Luckily for us the day was foggy and rainy. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the panoramic scenary and picturesque places. We spend time in Maritime museum, Cathedral and orthodox churches. And all I can say is our tour guide - Dmitry, had been an amazing tour guide. He had an amazing sense of the history, and culture of the country. I strongly recommend to take this tour. Dmitry speak English, so it was a great help in chatting about the history, politics and culture.
The tour guide/ owner was excellent and a lot of fun. He adjusted the tour according to our requests and showed us stunningly beautiful places not included in regular tours

We had a fantastic day with a very professional and friendly tour guide. Visited many picturesque spots. Really appreciated that the tour guide was willing to take into account our wishes and did not mind little additional stop for the morning coffee :) Nice way to learn about that beautiful country.
Thank you so much for your visit. We are glad to hear that you are satisfied with our service and that you left Montenegro with memories worth memorizing. We hope you will come back once again and explore more of the country. All the best. MT team.
A great day exploring Montenegro. Dimitrije with Trip and Travel was the perfect guide and adjusted the tour as the day went along to make sure I saw everything I wanted. I learned so much about the food and culture and met some incredible locals. Dimitrije knows some wonderful off the beaten path places to give you a truly authentic Montenegrian experience and take some great photos!
Dear Laura, first of all I would like to thank you for your trust and visit. We really appreciate the time you took to write a recommendation here, but also on social networks. Dimitrije sends greetings and we hope that you will come again to enjoy the beauties of the north of Montenegro together. All the best. Mont Travelers team
Dimitrije met us at the port, and we headed out to see this beautiful country. Along the way, our guide pointed out interesting sites, stopped for photo ops, and taught us about his country. It was evident that Dimitrije lives Montenegro and loves sharing it with visitors. He has carefully sought out providers around the country to ensure his visitors receive excellent experiences. On our first stop, we did a boat cruise on Skadar Lake. We had beautiful scenery to shoot - birds, water, fishing boats - and we had time to relax and enjoy this beautiful area. Our next stop was to Garnet winery. Again, Dimitrije had carefully chosen our host. The food, the wine, and the village could not have been more perfect! We had lunch, sampled excellent wines, then headed back toward Kotor. On the return, we stopped at a monastery for more photos and then at the beach to (successfully) hunt for some sea glass. Every detail was customized to our requests. We could not have had a more beautiful tour for our first time in Montenegro.
