This was a last minute booking and we had such a great time. Ellie was outstanding. She kept our group entertained and brought good energy to the tour. I was only expecting to learn about Harry Potter facts, but she sprinkled in a lot of history about York too. Breaking up in different teams (houses) and answering trivia questions adding a lot of fun to the tour. My kids (ages 8 and 10) and my husband and I had a great time exploring the city as a small group. We had a couple and a younger man among us and that was a fun balance. We saw many different sites, including walking along the wall for a little. Someone complained that it wasn't about filming locations. I think this was a super cool city for seeing the inspiration for the the film and would definitely recommend it to others, HP fans and just visitors wanting to learn more about the area's history.
Very informative regarding York. Nice details regarding HP, but don't expect film sets ect, there are just ideas in York for Rowling
It was okay, but not amazing. Some useful information about York, but with little real connection to Harry Potter.

My guide Molly was amazing. Talking with her was like sharing a passion with an old friend. You can see her love for the city and the world of Harry Potter. I highly recommend this tour if you happen to visit York and love Harry Potter. Great job, Molly! 🐍
Molly was a fantastic tour guide. She was very informative and knowledgeable. We had no problem identifying the meeting point and learnt lots about not only Harry Potter and the influence the York had upon the stories and dramatisation but also about the city itself. We would highly recommend the tour.
This was a great tour. Our Tour guide Ellie was made it so much fun! Loved the interactive quiz element. Was a nice relaxed pace around some great spots in York with some interesting information given. Would highly recommend x
