Visite historique en petit groupe de Tolède avec cathédrale et monuments

Quand on pense à l'histoire de l'Espagne, Tolède se trouve dans une position inévitable. L'une des villes des trois cultures est finalement devenue la ville natale de Greco; la ville de la cathédrale gothique la plus récente d'Europe est unique en son genre et vaut bien une visite. Voici le plan : nous irons à l'intérieur de la cathédrale ; Saint Tomé; St. María la Blanca et St. Juan de los Reyes et, entre ces monuments, notre guide vous proposera une visite à pied de la ville elle-même. Cependant, la plus grande question est : quel type de visite ? Nous sommes en 2023 ; pour lutter contre le tourisme de masse, nos groupes ne comptent que 10 personnes. Nous pourrions faire n'importe quoi, mais notre slogan a toujours été "Nous aimons cet endroit". Eh bien, nous assumons le devoir de le rendre durable. Nous sommes les guides dont vous avez besoin, et c'est la visite que la ville nobel de Tolède a besoin de nous. Nous ferons une visite à pied et visiterons les principaux monuments (dont la cathédrale) en petits groupes où le guide ne parlera qu'une seule langue (nous n'aimons pas non plus les visites bilingues).

nous marcherons de Zocodover Sq. à la cathédrale en profitant de cette rue unique.
Maison du chef-d'œuvre de Greco "L'enterrement du seigneur d'Orgaz" et d'un magnifique temple mudéjar.
C'était autrefois une synagogue, aujourd'hui c'est une église de style mudéjar.
Nous visiterons ce monastère gothique-élisabéthain (quand nous disons élisabéthain, nous entendons notre monastère Isabel -Elizabeth- Ier d'Espagne).
L'un des temples les plus impressionnants du style gothique espagnol. Nous passerons environ une heure à l'intérieur de ce magnifique bâtiment.

Macarena was such an incredible guide. Being from Toledo, Ohio USA, I knew we wanted to do a tour of Toledo, Spain and I did NOT want to do it with a large bug group. Paying for a small group tour was not that much more expensive and 100% worth it! In fact, it ended up being just me and my boyfriend on the tour! We were able to ask questions and she was able to give us excellent suggestions for lunch in Toledo as well as sent us messages re: suggestions in Madrid. Toledo was one of the highlights of our France/Spain trip and much of that was because of our guide. Only one other time I have I fallen in love with a city (Florence), but I think I may now be cheating with Toledo! The tour length was perfect to cover all the major attractions and we received the tourist pass bracelet to get into any other monuments for free. THANK YOU MACARENA!

Our guide Stephi was phenomenal and the history of the city fascinated us. Before we met our guide, we had to make our way to the main Square from the local train station. There are lots of steps and a lot of elevation to cover to get into town. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning so the weather was still cool enough to make the walk. I would not have wanted to do it later in the day when it was warmer. Plenty of taxis available and buses too to avoid the walk.

We throughly enjoyed our tour! First off our guide, Alex, was terrific. Super informative, friendly and allowed for great conversations. He was really on it prior to the tour making sure we got there ok and knew exactly where to meet him! A small group of 5 allowed for a real personal visit to this lovely town! Our tour guide, Belen, gave an excellent historical tour! She was very knowledgeable regarding the history of Spain, with specific Toledo history as well. She did very good job of explaining Toledo’s importance in the history of Spain. She highlighted the beauty of Toledo, paying extra attention to the cathedral and the Jewish quarter. Would highly recommend the tour.
