Segway is the best way to see the French Quarter! It's so easy and fun, even at 70 years we both had no problem. Ren was amazing! She gave us good training and we started slow but quickly became very comfortable with it. We covered everything from the Saint Louis Cathedral to the Riverwalk to Bourbon and Royal St. Ren gave us great History and stories, she was very knowledgeable. We loved it, segway is the best way to see it all!

My husband and I lucked out and had a private tour with Ren. We only had one day to visit NOLA and had a blast. She was fun, friendly and very informative. Also, anyone with reservations about using a segway, no worries, it's easy to learn and Ren was extremely patient. She made our day!

Weather was supposed to be dry, but it dumped rain on us out of the blue. Ren easily pivoted our tour, and we were able to avoid some of the downpour. Ren was so friendly and patient and informative. We loved it!

This is the 6th segway tour my husband and I have taken. We like to take a segway tour at each new city that we travel to because we feel it's a good way to get an overall feel for the city, it's history and culture. This segway tour was very so-so. Patrick, our guide, was very nice and patient with the 8 of us that were in his tour. However, he did not have a thorough knowledge of New Orleans it seemed, and did not give much information or facts about the city as we were traveling through it. Most of the segway tours we have been on provide headphones to the tourists. That way your tour guide can be in constant contact with his tourists while continually providing you with interesting facts about the areas you are rolling by. This tour did not have headphones. So the only time Patrick spoke to us was when we stopped. Another very important reason for providing headphones is tourist safety, especially when passing through intersections or areas of traffic congestion. It has been our experience that the guide will go through an intersection first, stop in the middle of it, insure all is clear, inform his tourist to pass, and then be the last one to leave the intersection. Patrick did none of this. In all cases, he passed through the intersection first, stayed first in the line and just assumed the rest of us, 8 of us, got through safely while he occasionally looked back. This happened through intersections that were not controlled, or controlled by stop signs, or traffic signals. This made me feel unsafe and not very well taken care of by the tour group. As, I said, this was my husband and I's 6th segway tour, in which one of them was in San Francisco, traveling IN the streets with traffic and segwaying down Lombard Street. I never felt unsafe in those situations because our tour guide had control and made our safety a priority . But we did not feel safe traveling through traffic with Patrick. My husband and I was happy we took the tour. We did get to roll through a lot of the city in a shorter time that it would have taken to walk. But I don't think I can recommend this tour.
Hello Brenda G, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback, we truly appreciate it, especially coming from experienced Segway riders like yourselves. We’re glad to hear you found the tour enjoyable overall and that Patrick was kind and patient. That said, we take your comments regarding safety and communication very seriously. Providing a safe, informative, and well guided experience is our top priority, and we’re sorry to hear that this was not fully reflected during your tour. We understand your concerns regarding intersection procedures and the use of communication tools like headsets. Your feedback is valuable, and we will be reviewing this with our team to ensure our protocols are consistently followed and that our guides are aligned with the level of experience guests expect. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. It helps us improve and maintain the high standards we strive for. If you’d be open to it, we’d love the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide the experience you were expecting.
