The Prado Museum is somewhat overwhelming and it is well worth your money to get a guide. Our guide was on time, had the tickets, and was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant.
We had an incredible time at the Prado. The museum is extraordinary on its own, but what truly made the visit unforgettable was our guide., Elena. She clearly knew her stuff — not only explaining the stories and symbolism behind the paintings, but also weaving in funny anecdotes that made the art come alive. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, we enjoyed a fascinating, entertaining journey through history and masterpieces. Highly recommend!!
Incredible walkthrough of the brilliant art collection at Prado. Key artwork was highlighted for its significance to the evolution of art, transcending and connecting art through the ages and to different artists. This was one the best tours I had in europe! The museum was really bought to life by our guide Juan as he explained the painting in a very passionate and involving manner. The pace was just perfect and we were given information about what we could do after the museum. No to be missed!
