The guide was very helpful and informative. He had a deep knowledge of history and the museum. Since we had only a few hours, he made the best use of our time. Well worth the money

Joseph, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and humorous in his description of the many artifacts and areas of the museum that we explored. Particularly interesting was the Rosetta Stone, the Egyptian sculpture exhibit, and the Greek marbles. This two-hour tour gave us a great taste of all that the museum has to offer, which would take days to explore in detail. Joseph spoke at length on each piece, and injected historical asides and humorous anecdotes at a suitable pace for condensing so much available information into coherent sentences of suitable length. His knowledge of all of the full scope of history was excellent, and his enthusiasm for the subjects was contagious. I highly recommend this tour.

A wonderful tour of the museum’s most famous artifacts and some often overlooked treasures, as well as the history of how the museum came to be. Damiano was entertaining and informative - everyone agreed this tour was one of the highlights of our trip!

Damiano is both personable and enthusiastic. He is very knowledgeable across a broad range of topics. As he learned our interests he tailored his tour to us. He took us to see some old favorites plus introduced us to items new to us. I highly recommend him for this tour and would love take another different tour by him as well

We had such a great private tour of the British Museum with Damiano. He was incredibly knowledgeable, but also made everything really interesting and easy to follow, especially for our teenagers, who stayed engaged the whole time. He was also very generous with his time and went well over the scheduled tour to make sure we covered everything we wanted to see and all the questions we had. We really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend Damiano to anyone wanting to get much more out of a visit to the British Museum.
