Le sultan saadien Ahmed Al Mansour Ed Dahbi n'a épargné aucune dépense pour sa tombe, en important du marbre italien de Carrare et de la dorure des muqarnas (plâtres décoratifs) avec de l'or pur pour faire de la Chambre des 12 piliers un mausolée convenablement glorieux. Al Mansour est mort dans sa splendeur en 1603
La mosquée Koutoubia est la plus grande mosquée de Marrakech, au Maroc. La mosquée est également connue sous plusieurs autres noms, tels que Jami ‘al-Kutubiyah, la mosquée Kotoubia, la mosquée Kutubiya, la mosquée Kutubiyyin et la mosquée des libraires. Il est situé dans le quartier sud-ouest de la médina de Marrakech. La mosquée est décorée de fenêtres incurvées, d'une bande de céramique, de merlons pointus et d'arches décoratives; il a une grande place avec des jardins et est éclairé la nuit. Le minaret de 773 mètres (253 pieds) comprend une flèche et des orbes. Il a été achevé sous le règne du calife almohade berbère Yaqub al-Mansour (1184-1199), et a inspiré d'autres bâtiments tels que la Giralda de Séville et la tour Hassan de Rabat.

Tour of inside the medina was arranged by hotel. Started off taking to see the historic attractions but then moved on the the Souk. It was a labarynth but felt we were being taken to specific stalls where the guide nee the owners and was commissioned based. When we asked to stop at a stall we were told no good and quickly moved on. We got taken to carpet shops and argan oil pharmacies where after a talk and demo we were encouraged to purchase items. This is a trip we could have done ourselves. Cost £40 or 400 MAD for the group (5 of us)

Soufian organized our airport pickup, all transport, guides, Riads and tour guides for our 5 days in Morocco which includes Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca and Rabat. Our guides were friendly, very knowledgeable and took great care of us. Soufian is delightful; he’s also organized, reliable, funny, accommodating and was great company. We felt comfortable and relaxed with him. Morocco is a beautiful and historic country; we had a fantastic trip. I cannot recommend this tour company enough and would definitely use them again for a return trip.

This private tour is a must to get a true experience via your certified guide. You will experience areas that you are unlikely to experience without the tour guide. We had Mohammed as our guide. His knowledge and keeping us informed made the tour very special. I know you are unlikely to get the same guide each time, but he was excellent. Thank You Mohammed. You will know who you are.
