Robert was an excellent guide who adjusted the tour to our interests and a pace at which we were comfortable. Would definitely use him again.
If you have any interest in art, do yourself a favor and book this tour. Robert Miller is a superb guide who is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and charming. The three hours flew by and my wife and I wish it had been three more. I’m 70 years old and have had lots of private guides in my life. Robert is the best.
Robert gave us an outstanding private tour of the National Gallery. He demonstrated a deep knowlege of Art History, and his delivery was interesting and witty. Highly recommended.

Let me start by saying, London does not deserve the gem of Robert. He is incredible. The best tour. We learned so very much and would not have seen most of what was in the gallery without his expertise and knowledge. He knows so much about art, and ties it all together with a bow. Do not visit the gallery without him! We will book him again in the future. Cannot recommend enough.

A wonderful 3 hour tour with Robert as my guide. The time just flew by. Robert was incredibly knowledgeable and charming. I’m so glad I spent the extra money to have a private tour. Robert was so entertaining and we did collect a few other visitors discretely following us around and trying to eavesdrop on what he had to say. I would definitely purchase another guided tour with him next time I’m in London.
Robert met us at the precise time and place prearranged and had a sign making it easy to find him. We were able to skip the long lines and go through the short members’ entrance right when the museum opened. He then expertly guided us to all of the best and most notable paintings in such a way as we missed almost all of the crowds around them. I don’t know how he managed it, but we were truly impressed! His knowledge of the paintings was exceptional and he was very kind in his explanations, as both of us remembered little of our art history courses. This is a great tour for those with a deep knowledge of art as well as those who are looking for a refresher and want to see paintings by all of the masters. Plus we can’t recommend Robert highly enough!
