La galerie Borghese est l'un des musées les plus célèbres et les plus visités de Rome avec 20 salles et des centaines d'œuvres d'art réparties sur deux étages. Cette visite privée approfondie de 2 heures vous donnera l'occasion de découvrir des chefs-d'œuvre réalisés par le Caravage, le Bernin et Raphaël. Votre visite commencera au rez-de-chaussée, où vous découvrirez d'abord l'un des célèbres chefs-d'œuvre du Bernin "L'enlèvement de Proserpine", commandé par le cardinal Scipione, devenant la première d'une série d'œuvres d'art à remplir la galerie. Vous y trouverez de nombreuses autres statues fabuleuses telles que « Paolina Borghese de Canova », « Apollon et Daphné » et « David » de Bernini. Au premier étage, vous vous rendrez vite compte que celui-ci est majoritairement consacré aux peintures. Vous apprendrez tout sur Raphaël en découvrant la déposition du Christ et le "portrait d'homme" et vous ne manquerez sûrement pas "David à la tête de Goliath", "Jeunesse à la corbeille de fruits" et "Jeune malade" du Caravage. This tour was an in depth education on the contents and history of this special gallery and its place in Roman history. Not to be missed. The sculpture was incredible, and our guide was extraordinarily knowledgeable about the art housed here. One of the best tours I have taken…of many Viator tours.
We did the Borghese Gallery Spanish tour with Susana and it was a real wonder. He gave us a lot of information of enormous interest and in a very clear and enjoyable way. You can tell that Susana has enormous knowledge and transmits it great, in a pleasant way and that makes you want to listen to her. Of course, one of the best tours we have done in Rome and we found it 100% recommended.

The stories were fascinating, the tour leader was gentle and spoke clearly. It felt a bit too rush, but there were just too many things to talk about and two hours duration just wasn't enough to cover everything.

The tour operator Veronica was especially nice and helpful. I had made an error with my telephone and she spent 15 minutes to make sure that our visit to the Gallery was not cancelled. The Gallery itself is exceptional.
