Visite Guidée Privée de la Cité de David

Description

Our group of seven had a fantastic experience touring the City of David with Nissim Slama. One of the highlights was the flexibility: Nissim let us split up so some of us could wade through the water in Hezekiah’s Tunnel while the rest took the dry tunnel, then regrouped seamlessly on the other side. Nissim is deeply knowledgeable about the history of the site and brought it to life, walking us through how the city evolved over many millennia. We saw the physical remains of the ancient city walls and came away with a real understanding of how Jerusalem’s water source shifted from King David’s time to that of the later kings. Having a private tour made all the difference. We were able to step away from the crowds, take our time, and ask as many questions as we wanted — digging deeply into the history and how it connects to the biblical accounts. If you want a thoughtful, unhurried, and genuinely educational visit to the City of David, we highly recommend booking with Nissim.
Nissim was the absolute best tour guide. His excitement for the tour, history, and love of storytelling was incredibly engaging. I would absolutely recommend this tour and Nissim for any and all experiences to all. Thank you for an unforgettable tour of the City of David.
Thank you so much for this beautiful review!
Great contact ahead of time by Nissim. The tour was great! Nissim is very knowledgeable and also uses large photos, a white board and a small topographical relief board to help explain everything which is very beneficial to get a better understanding. He knows the area very well and has great relationships with people working around the sites which lead to the tour not ending prematurely due to a nearby event. It was fun getting wet walking through the ancient Hezekiah’s tunnel for 500 meters.
Thanks for this great review! I am glad you enjoyed this exciting (and archeology speaking complex) place!
Was a great experience!!! Would recommend
Thanks a lot!

Merci énormément! J'ai pris un grand plaisir à vous guider!
Nisim was an exceptional tour guide. He was incredibly patient with our family, especially since we had our four-year-old with us for the entire trip. He made a genuine effort to include our child in the tour, weaving him into the explanations and keeping him engaged, which made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. Nisim is extremely knowledgeable and clearly well-versed in the City of David and the history of Jerusalem, and his passion really comes through. I honestly wouldn’t have chosen any other tour guide—he made the experience unforgettable.
Thanks for this wonderful review!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Private Tour with Nissim Slama at the City of David! Our private tour of the City of David with Nissim Slama was absolutely outstanding! We were a group of two adults and two children, and Nissim made the entire experience engaging, educational, and fun for everyone. His passion for history and deep knowledge of the site truly brought the ancient city to life. The kids especially loved walking through the water tunnels, and Nissim made sure they felt safe, curious, and excited the whole time. He took extra time to explain things on their level, answer all our questions, and personalize the tour to our interests. His warmth, humor, and enthusiasm made us feel like we were exploring with a friend rather than a guide. We left with unforgettable memories, a deeper appreciation of Jerusalem’s history, and smiles all around. If you’re visiting the City of David, book a tour with Nissim Slama — you won’t find anyone better!

Amazing! The tour was a highlight of our trip to Jerusalem. Nissim was a terrific tour guide—intelligent, knowledgeable, responsive, humorous, He allowed us to develop our own itinerary. Nissim managed to squeeze everything into our allotted time. I had never before hired a private guide and I have to say it was a fabulous experience. Well worth the time and money. Do not hesitate to book Nissim. You’ll thank me. First photo is Nissim. Second photo is the water tunnel, Hezekiah’s Tunnel (or Siloam Tunnel) which we got to explore.
Thank you so much! I am so glad you enjoyed the tour!
