We ended up booking a taxi tour last minute because the Magical Mystery Tour was all booked for the day we wanted. Boy, were we lucky! Our driver (Tony Mac) picked us up from Liverpool Lime Street Station, and the tour was way better than anything we could’ve gotten on the bus tour. He stopped at each of the main locations (their childhood homes, schools, Penny Lane, Strawberry Field, Saint Peter’s Church, etc.), and he regaled us with stories and Beatles trivia. Our Airbnb was even in his neighborhood, and he even offered to drop us off there after our tour. To top it all off, absent-minded me left my pouch in his car, and he even came by our place to drop it off. You’re our hero, Tony! Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!
Jimmy was FANTASTIC! He literally knows-it-all, and he’s focused on making the trip interesting for you. So we took some things out, added some in (including a drive-thru McDonalds stop for this hungry girl), and got me back to the ship exactly as advertised. He was my personal photographer, too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We had a great afternoon on this tour around Liverpool. Our guide Gary was fantastic with our young family and really went out of his way to keep the kids engaged - which goes a long way towards our enjoyment! He even gave us a local dinner suggestion that really hit the spot after an afternoon exploring. Would recommend this to anyone interested in a little bit of Beatles history - a great way to spend an afternoon in this beautiful city.

Had a great time and Jay and John we wonderful guides; knowledgeable and had good stories and pictures of the Beatles. We were picked up right at the cruise terminal and upon our return dropped off at the same place with minimal waking. If you are a Beatles fan this tour is for you. Would use their service again and recommend the company to everyone.

For picking us up from our hotel and dropping us off at the Cavern Club at the end. Thank you for driving, for the laughs and for the water which was so thoughtful on a hot day. This was an exceptional tour that hit all the Beatles highlights in Liverpool. John, our guide, was so knowledgeable and was able to talk about all the stops and their importance. He shared relevant details between stops and if it was longer he played some of the Beatles music. He had so many pictures of the Beatles that he shared with us. He knew so much about their history and explained the inspiration and lyrics to many of their songs. It was by far the best shore excursion on our cruise of the British isles.
This was the best shore excursion on our cruise. John, our guide was so knowledgeable and helpful. He was pleasant and patient. I would definitely book with him again. He shared lots of information and history on homes of all members of the Beatles. He answered all our questions and had lots of pictures of the Fab 4, their families and their favorite spots.
