Situé dans la partie supérieure de la rivière Thu Bồn, près de la ville de Đà Nẵng et à environ 20 km à l'ouest de la citadelle de Trà Kiệu, Mỹ Sơn est un groupe de temples hindous de la commune de Duy Phú, district de Duy Xuyên. Autrefois site sacré pour le peuple Cham (connu aujourd'hui sous le nom de Cham), il était utilisé pour offrir des sacrifices aux dieux. Construit entre le IVe et le XIIIe siècle après J.-C., ce célèbre complexe architectural était dédié au dieu Shiva. Notre guide vous donnera un aperçu de l'histoire des Cham et de leurs pratiques de culte hindous. De plus, vous aurez la chance d'assister à un spectacle de danse traditionnelle Cham. We really enjoyed touring My Son. Tai was a great guide and provided lots of information on the history of My Son (and also lots of icy cold water)! Definitely recommend visiting as a day trip from Hoi An.

One thing to know about My Son is that it is HOT! While I really wanted to see this, I wouldn't necessarily recommend for young children. Experience could be enhanced if the guide makes effort to connect with kiddos and tries to tailor information to their interests (which our guide really didn't do, though he did shorten the information based on attention span)
We had an amazing half‑day at My Son Sanctuary. Our guide (Tai) was extremely friendly and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and tailoring the tour to our wishes. He explained the history in detail, answered all our questions, and even took great photos of us along the way. The early start meant we could enjoy the site before the crowds and heat, which made the experience even more special. We would absolutely book this tour again

My Son Sanctuary tour was really interesting and the tour guide provided a lot of history. Nice air conditioned private car to take 4 of us from Hoi An. They provided cold bottles of water too which was much needed on a very hot and humid day!

We opted for the most basic version of the tour: just the site. That was the perfect option for us. Our guide, Thai, is highly knowledgeable. He gave us an overview en route from the hotel and pointed out many things we wouldn't have spotted without him. He's quite patient and if the weather hadn't been so hot we would likely have walked around even more than we did. One bit of obvious advice: learn as much as you can before you go. This is an extraordinary site with a recent history that also matters very much. If you go in May, be ready for hot weather.

Thai was a very knowledgable guide and took us on a private tour of My Son sanctuary. The journey was well prepared with ice cold water and towel given the soaring heat. A great way to spend a morning in Da Nang
