Adi was brilliant! He gave us a great experience. He was friendly and very knowledgeable and gave us a very personal half day tour. Stunning rice fields, delicious coffee tasting, spiritual temple and scenic waterfalls. Loved the Bali swing he took us too as an optional extra. Well worth it! What an amazing experience. I recommend getting a tour guide driver who also your professional photographer. Adi is my driver, tour guide and photographer since 2023. We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our half-day tour of Bali! Our itinerary was incredibly varied and gave us the chance to experience so many different sides of Bali, from the rice terraces and a coffee tasting at a luwak coffee plantation, to exploring a temple and finishing the day at a waterfall. We were picked up exactly on time by our guide Moyo. Introductions out of the way, bottled water in the car and we were off. First stop, that we added was Bali Swing. A very tourist thing to do! It’s free as long as you don’t want to participate otherwise you pay for the experience which includes all the swings and dress hire. There is a photographer on hand however the staff are happy to take pictures using your own phone, not really a need to pay the additional fee for the photos. Back to the schedule we visited Tagalagang rice fields. Moyo guided around and explained the process of growing and harvesting rice. It was a nice unrushed experience. From here we stopped at Cantik Agriculture Luak Coffee Plantation to try the infamous civet poo coffee as well and other teas and coffee. It was a welcome stop in the shade. No hard sell here and we took out time. Our tour continued to the Tirta Empul Temple, aging Moyo was our guide, sorting out sarongs and explaining what was happening from the water cleansing ritual to the prayer ceremony. Our last stop was Ulu Petanu Waterfall. You have the opportunity to swim here, we chose to simply look and take in the beauty of it all. Moyo suggested a venue for lunch, this wasn’t part of the tour but it turned out to be a good call. Plenty of Indonesian food to pick from. We were then dropped back to our hotel. Moyo was a great guide. Pointing out things of interest as he drove along, his local knowledge was helpful not just in his explanation but also in his navigation around the back streets of Ubud. I would recommend this tour.

This was a great experience to get to know about Ubud from a local guide. It does involve walking, thus means steps, but not too many. Win, our guide was delightful, gregarious and patient (we walk slowly). She gave a potted history in an easily digestible way at every site visited. The tour was unrushed, with breaks now and then. Local snacks and water were provided.

The Ubud tour was amazing, as was my tour guide Putu. The sites were incredible and Putu was really flexible and knowledgeable and took care of me through the whole trip. He showed me around, gave me tips and tricks and really let me design my own tour with his expert guidance. As a solo woman traveler, I felt really safe all day. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!
