We had a very frustrating experience with Monkey Kart Japan. We made a reservation through Orbitz for a twilight tour, which was important to us. We arrived 20 minutes early at the address provided in our confirmation. The location appeared to be an office — the lights and music were on inside, but no staff were present and the door was locked. We waited outside for about 20 minutes, tried calling and messaging, and received no response. Eventually, we found another contact number and were told we were at the wrong location — apparently they have multiple locations, but this was not made clear in the Orbitz confirmation we received. Instead of helping resolve the situation, we were told we would need to pay to rebook, and the twilight tour we originally reserved was no longer available. When we followed up by email, the company doubled down and placed the blame on us, stating the address was correct — even though it did not match what we were given through Orbitz. Overall, this felt very disorganized and disappointing. If you book, I strongly recommend confirming the exact location directly with the company in advance, as the information provided through third-party booking sites may not be accurate.

We had a fabulous time at Monkey Adventure cart doing the Asakusa route. Our guide Ayrton was fantastic and took a heap of photos for us to treasure. Highly recommend.

A INCREDIBLE, must do experience! So if you’re super nervous, don’t worry, Lewis and Rafael got you! And once you’ve got your confidence after a couple turns and want to hoon it, Lewis and Rafael still got you! They’re professional, super fun with some great tips and local knowledge. The photos are a memorable keep sake bonus! No better way to see Tokyo!
