The Civil War tour got cancelled. So I went on a general history tour of Savannah. Our guide was excellent and so knowledgeable. I learned so much and very much enjoyed it.
Champ was very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. He encourages dialogue and enjoys answering questions. Champ was very good at providing context as well as relevant historical perspectives. A+
Loved the Civil War History Tour! It was informative and fun. I’m a history nerd, but my husband also enjoyed it. It’s not every tour where you get an actual history professor!! Our guide was also attentive to keeping a good pace, but provided time and shade breaks since the heat and humidity were stifling. I appreciated knowing the events that happened in Savannah, and the homes and buildings where they happened(and where they didn’t!) I highly recommend the walking tour.

The tour was so so informative. It was a walking history lesson. The timing was perfect at 2 hours and covered historical sites and the connections to the civil war, why it was significant and included stories specific to the sites and historical figures. the mic and ear pieces was a nice touch so we can hear every detail. the walking route was flat and easy. Highly recommend.
Pierce was our tour guide and wow, he was fantastic! He knows his stuff and made sure when possible we all stood in the shade, which was good because it was sunny, hot and humid! We learned a lot we didn't know about the civil war. Highly recommend.

Rodney was a great Civil War tour guide. We discovered so much more about Savannah and the Civil War than we would have on my own! Highly recommend him and the experience!
Ask a lot of questions! The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Bring a lot of water. There were times where you could sit for a few while the guide talked and a place for a bathroom stop half way through. Also, lots of info about the plants along the way.
