Half day tour was just right,, saw Shirakawa-go starting early to avoid the crowds, guides were good. Special kudos to Yasushi san who took the time to fulfill viatour promise of guided walk to the observation deck with interesting points elaborated on during the walk, and to Keita san who did try to show us the bus stop so we could return to the Kanazawa train station (our departure point).

It was great to experience this world heritage site during the morning in summer, as it was not packed with visitors and it was not too warm to walk around. Our guide Yasushi was such a knowledgeable, entertaining, passionate and engaging guide.

This was an incredible tour, we really enjoyed it. The sceneries were incredible and the food we were able to try was just amazing. However, the highlight of the tour was without a doubt the guide Yasushi. He is such a passionate and kind person. We couldn’t have hoped for a better guide.

Keita was very funny and great, he was also very knowledgeable and friendly. The admission fee was a bit on the expensive side but worth it. The scenery and views were amazing and was a lovely bus ride with gorgeous views of rivers and mountains.
