Wow! Our guide was so knowledgeable it made the tour and the experience so memorable. The way she explained the periods and styles of the art gave such depth to the already beautiful art we saw. She teaches art so her background really added to the whole experience! 10/10 she was amazing!
Laura was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and patient with questions. We were actually a little late and they were amazing. Someone from the office took us over to museum to the skip the line entrance to meet up with the group already inside...so nice!
Hello Heather. Thank you for booking with us and thank you for taking the time to share your experience, it is much appreciated. We were happy to assist you. We hope you take home great memories of the David, the Uffizi, and Florence. Best wishes, Florence Specialists
Excellent tour and guide! We saw so much in a short period of time and the guide was very knowledgeable.
Great to read your review. Thank you for booking our tour and for sharing your experience. Best wishes from the Florence Specialists team. Arriverderci!
Our guide was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely knowledgeable about both museums. She interacted and had great interactions with personnel at both locations. I have some mobility issues and she always took the time to find places for me to sit when available
Hello Barbara, thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are very pleased to know you enjoyed the tour with Vera. Best wishes, Florence Specialists
A very knowledgeable and professional guide, Diletta, walked and guided us through the Accademia and Uffizi Galleries. The small group arrangement and skip-the-queue entrance were perfect, especially since the queues were massive! Thank you so much, Diletta, for all the engaging stories and insightful background information. The tour was enhanced greatly by your expertise and made our visit truly memorable.
Very inappropriate guide didnt wait for atleast 2 minutes and couldnt mash us up with another group. Bad service Not recommended
It really is a pity that you "wasted" your money because of your tardiness, since this is a complete 4-hour itinerary with great reviews that can be read on Viator, all with 5 stars (except for yours). We ask all tour participants to arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the tour since this tour includes priority entrance tickets with a timed entrance that are valid for group entrance for the selected time. It is essential to arrive on time. Those who arrive late will not be able to enter the museum from the group entrance with the guide. As per museum regulations, latecomers will have to enter the museum separately. This is something that is out the guide's control. It is not up to the guide, but the museum. It is not possible to "mash up" tour participants with another group for two reasons. First of all, as mentioned, the priority-entrance tickets are valid for a specific time, and secondly, our "small-group" tours, as well as the museum, have a maximum number of participants per group. In addition, these priority-entrance tickets were sold out, so latecomers cannot get another priority entrance ticket.
This company proved to be one of the best tour group organizations we have EVER used. FRIENDLY OFFICE STAFF Owner accommodating and demonstrably appreciative of our business. Tour was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Absolutely due to our its tour guide VITTORIA was in a word WONDERFUL. So informative and knowledgeable and passionate about teaching us about the renaissance and its art. This company is a DO NOT MISS experience in Florence
We were a family group of 6 adults. Our excellent guide was Chiara. Very good preparation and knowledge of the Academy and the Uffizzi, so in 4 hours we were able to see the most relevant things about both museums without waiting in lines and with clear, concise explanations dotted with curious anecdotes. This tour is highly recommended.
Saludos cordiales.
We had an excellent tour with Tommy. He connected the art, history, methods, and personalities in a way that enriched our understanding of everything we saw. Most of our memories and pictures are of details Tommy pointed out during the tour. Tommy has a bit of an accent but speaks English well. Stay close and listen to him weave together his stories and passion into a wonderful experience.
Hello and thank you for your feedback. We are happy to read that you had such a great experience visiting the museums with Tommy. He is a genuine Florentine with a love for his city. Best regards, Florence Specialists
What an unbelievable experience!! Loradonna was amazing. Her depth of knowledge of, not only the art, but also all thing Florence, was impressive. She told fantastic stories about the history of Florence, the buildings and architecture, and the art we saw, keeping us engaged the entire time. She steered us to some impressive highlights and helped navigate the crowds and vast offerings of these impressive facilities, making sure we saw everything we wanted to see, with plenty of opportunity to see more. She is a fluent English speaker, which was excellent, for those people who may not speak Italian well. I would recommend her for, not only this tour, but probably a tour of ANYTHING Florence. She's that good.
Hello Keith, thank you for your great review. We are so happy to hear that the three of you enjoyed the experience. The tour was fun for me too; I think I'll never get tired of visiting these amazing sites and telling the stories behind the works. We hope to see back again in Florence soon! Best wishes, Lori
