Nous avons développé la seule route guidée de Vienne, celle qui explore le grand lac du Vieux Danube, un vieux bras latéral du célèbre fleuve. En chemin, admirez l'architecture contemporaine la plus importante de Vienne, apprenez tout sur son influence moderne et découvrez le cœur récréatif non découvert de la ville ! Nous pouvons nous arrêter à un café au bord du lac ou prendre une baignade dans l'eau propre. Attendez-vous à partager la matinée avec quelques rameurs, l'étrange pêcheur, et la vie des oiseaux locaux. Pour la plupart cependant, nous devrions l'avoir pour nous ;-) C'est la visite estivale ultime, alors venez voir une autre facette de cette ville avec nous à Venture Vienna. Nous limitons tous nos circuits à de véritables petits groupes (max 12), ce qui signifie que votre expérience avec nous est plus intime, enrichissante et personnelle aux côtés de vos compagnons de voyage. Vous obtiendrez des tas de conseils de notre part pour votre séjour dans la ville tout en vous faisant de nouveaux amis internationaux, en prenant du soleil et en étant actif au grand air!

Itinéraire
Nous enquêterons sans doute sur la partie la plus pittoresque de Vienne, l'Alte Donau; un village lacustre qui a été coupé du canal principal du Danube en 1870. C'est là que les castors nocturnes errent maintenant dans un ancien bras latéral du grand fleuve. De jolies cabanes au bord du lac ornent le bord de l'eau pour donner des éclats de couleur vibrants au bord du lac. Nous partagerons très probablement l'eau avec les rameurs locaux, l'étrange pêcheur et de nombreux cygnes et canards en cours de route ! S'il fait chaud, nous pouvons également faire une pause pour nager dans les eaux propres du lac. Une fois la visite terminée, si vous souhaitez continuer à explorer la "nouvelle" Vienne un peu plus longtemps, vous pourrez déjeuner ou prendre un cocktail sur la "Copa Beach" voisine de Vienne, nager et traîner sur l'île du Danube, visiter le plus haut bâtiment d'Autriche - le Tour du Danube ou explorez le charmant parc du Danube, tous accessibles à pied depuis l'endroit où nous terminerons.
Nous pagayerons à la vue du plus haut bâtiment d'Autriche, ainsi que de nombreux autres gratte-ciel modernes de Vienne à l'ombre de son horizon naissant.
Découvrez le côté international et politique de Vienne en passant devant le troisième plus grand siège mondial des Nations Unies. Nous verrons comment la Vienne moderne a conservé sa réputation établie de longue date en tant que centre de la diplomatie et des relations internationales.
Nous pagayerons tout autour de ce paradis secret pour les Viennois locaux - une île unique formée dans le Vieux Danube qui est devenue l'un des lieux de loisirs les plus appréciés de Vienne.

We had an absolutely perfect kayak trip with James! The weather was beautiful, but the best part was the guiding by James. He gave great instructions, made the trip really easy, had interesting history and perspective on the area and Austria, and was just very enjoyable to be with. The time flew by, and it was the most relaxing tour I have ever taken. We learned a lot, and felt we saw a lot of the area. We left feeling very relaxed, happy and recharged afterwards. Thanks James!

Great tour! Usually, I don’t really pay much attention to what guides tell me — I’m much more interested in paddling a kayak down the river. But in this case, the information was both interesting and practical, and the guide himself was super nice and charming. The tour itself is a few kilometers of easy paddling, suitable for almost anyone. Afterward, you can sit down at a decent restaurant right on the river.
Amazing look at a less-known but no less lovely part of Vienna. Stephanie was a wonderful guide. Easy kayaking, beautiful views, lots of birding and such lovely clean water
If you would like to go off the beaten path I recommend the Vienna kayaking tour. It was a fun and cool summer activity, our guide Stephanie was great and the kayaks were easy to maneuver. Who knew there was a pristine lake to swim, boat, paddle board or kayak in only 20 minutes from city center….
Stephanie was great! It was a great time exploring the Alte Donue with her. I didn't know that the old and new danube were divided up, and this old danube is now a fun lake for the families and people of Vienna. It was a great way to spend our first morning in Vienna.
What an experience! This was by far my favourite thing of our trip to Vienna. It was fun, unique, educational and the James was a knowledgeable, kind and cool guy. Really enjoyed every second. James also gives unique insights into Vienna and provided us with great recommendations for food, wine and experiences whilst in Vienna. 10/10, would absolutely recommend.
One if the highlights of our holiday in Vienna. James is a top bloke, very accommodating and knowledgeable about the history, culture and politics of vienna. Kayaking the old Danube is a really unique way to see some of the new district parts of the city and learn about some of the more recent history of Vienna. Worth every penny, gave us a bit of a work out but nothing overly strenuous and there are plenty of points in the tour where you can just relax floating on the water taking in the scenery. This was a great experience for folks who want to see a different side of Vienna. The level of activity is minor, but the experience is major. I would highly recommend James and kayaking in Vienna as a must do for those who want a water view of District 22.
