It was a wonderful experience.

Everything was great. I do have 2 things i was not happy with. 1. We didn't stop at MLK's childhood home and 2. There were some really rude women there that were taking over the tour guide's voice. He had a mic and had a naturally deep loyd voice and it was still very difficult for the entire tour bus to hear him. The tour itself was very educational and fun. Our tour guide was very sweet and knew the city and the many of the people there. He played the harmonica and sang for our enjoyment. I definitely think we got our money's worth. Book now!

Overall the Tour is...

Overall the Tour is great. Excellent way to learn about the city especially if it is your first time like it was for me. The meeting point was a little difficult to find as there’s not signage outside the building pointing to the tour company’s location but the Guide, Driver and Sites we visited were all positive.

Lost & Found

Get there at least an hour early to find the meeting spot. We got there 30 minutes early not realizing that the GPS sent us to the wrong parking garage. We got lost with all of the different sky walks. We stopped by two hotel desks for directions and was given the wrong information. The number we had to call the company didn’t work. Thank God, the Guide called us because we were running late now. Eventually, we were able to find the meeting spot. If she hadn’t called us, we would probably be lost in those sky tunnels today. The rest of the trip went off without a hitch. My family enjoyed the tour immensely!

Enjoyed

The actual tour was great. I am a person who uses a walker. So, when I got to the tour location there was no way for me to get to the bottom level. There as an escalator, but with the walker I couldn’t use it. The address given was 231 Peachtree St NE. The number is not on the building. I did not know how to get to the lower level from Peachtree street. When I finally found out how to get the elevator down I could not get to the mall because the door was locked. You need to develop a better policy for Seniors and handicapped people

Wonderful

Don and Audrey did a fabulous job. They were very entertaining and knowledgeable of the Atlanta area. Atlanta is a very diverse, eclectic city and has many nuances that only a local tour guide could help you navigate. This was our first visit to Atlanta and I would highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful tour!

Don was a wealth of information about Atlanta. There wasn’t a street we passed that he didn’t share history about. My mom loved the information about pop culture icons from decades ago. Even though some of the references went over my wife and I’s head (we’re in our early 30’s) she really appreciated it. Learning the history of the civil rights movement in Atlanta was facilitating. And the Buckhead neighborhood was beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guild with Don and Pam was an impeccable driver. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience

Our guide, Mary, was very knowledgeable and added many anecdotes to the tour. He was very friendly, constantly offered water, and made sure we were comfortable. A 10 out of 10. Lovely lady.

Atlanta Tour

The facilitator was knowledgable, engaging, and entertaining. Although we thought the tour bus was full, there was only one other couple. We enjoyed visiting the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park & museum. However, we would have loved the opportunity to visit the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church as part of the tour. While seeing upscale homes was interesting, I would have preferred spending time exploring additional historical and cultural landmarks Tyler Perry Studio & Jimmy Carter Library. These locations would have provided richer specific history. Decrease stops to multiple food courts. With few adjustments itinerary emphasize more iconic landmarks less time driving residential areas the experience would be more memorable.
