Description
Nous nous retrouverons à l'entrée du musée, pour éviter la file d'attente et entrer dans le musée tous ensemble. Nous allons commencer par passer en revue l'Empire suédois et la guerre dans laquelle Gustave Adolf a fait commander le navire, quel était le but du navire? Qui était l'ennemi pendant ces années ? Quelque chose s'est passé pendant la construction et le navire a coulé, que s'est-il passé ? et à qui la faute ? Bien des années plus tard, il a été trouvé et récupéré, mais ce n'était pas une tâche facile. Nous passerons ensemble en revue le projet d'ingénierie et vous montrerons les cartes utilisées au 19ème siècle pour trouver l'emplacement du navire, et comment il a été trouvé dans les années 1950. Une fois récupérée, une capsule temporelle du XVIIe siècle a été ouverte et de nombreux secrets ont été révélés sur la façon dont la vie était à l'époque. Cette visite est le choix parfait pour ceux qui veulent acquérir une connaissance approfondie de tout ce qui s'est passé, dans et hors du navire. Bea was a fantastic guide and the museum was amazing. Best museum we saw on our trip. The history of the Vasa is very well explained.
Arthur was the most amazing Guide I’ve ever had; no matter the country, no matter the topic - best ever. Between history and geology… everything he said was fascinating!! His knowledge was so in-depth; his delivery - you wanted to catch every word. I could have listened to him all day.

Visiting the Vasa museum was definitely one of the highlights during my time in Stockholm. It is considered one of the top places to visit for tourists, so do not miss it! I was glad I booked this tour as Sebastian was great at putting everything together that we needed to know about the museum in a way that made it engaging to listen to.

This is a fantastic tour and I highly recommend it. The museum itself is great, but having someone tell us everything and guide us through it was the best way to do it. We signed on to this tour with deliberately no knowledge of Vasa to have a surprise experience. With guide Joanes, truly among our top tours ever in 40 years of travel! He has a happy enthusiasm for everything Vasa that fills every stop of the tour with “you are there that day” feeling and knowledge. I won’t give out any detail here so you can be as amazed as we were. But be assured that Vasa museum by itself has an incredible amount of displays and information that could fill a day. With only 2+ hours, you want a guide like Joanes to make it all into a story you’ll enjoy in the telling and remember forever.
