ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE — DO NOT BOOK WITH MATTEO I booked this Louvre tour more than a month in advance and organized my limited time in Paris around this confirmed reservation. Matteo then cancelled the tour at 6:49 AM on the SAME MORNING of our 10:30 AM tour because the minimum number of participants had supposedly not been met. This is an appalling way to treat travelers. By cancelling only a few hours before the tour, there was practically no opportunity to find replacement Louvre tickets or another comparable guided tour. I was leaving Paris the following day, so the suggestion to simply reschedule was completely useless. To make matters worse, Viator initially claimed I had been notified the day before, which was not true. I have the timestamp clearly showing that the cancellation was sent that morning. If an operator knows a tour depends on a minimum number of participants, customers should be warned well in advance—not left stranded on the morning of the tour after planning their vacation around a confirmed booking. This cancellation effectively cost me the opportunity to visit one of the main attractions I traveled to Paris to see. A refund does not give a traveler back their time or the opportunity that was lost because of such incredibly poor planning and communication. Completely unreliable, extremely unprofessional, and one of the worst tour experiences I have had. I would strongly discourage anyone with limited time in Paris from booking with this operator. It's a good fast tour of the museum, hitting the major exhibits. The guide gave a good running description of art history and how the art changes over time, and why certain pieces are significant. The guide communicated well, and was professional.

Matteo was excellent and so enthusiastic about the art he was sharing with us. He was knowledgeable and so friendly. He was focused that we have a good experience. He went out of his way to make sure that we knew which direction to go for our next reservation. He even called the restaurant letting them know that we would be late.

Very easy to access the museum, easy to get around inside (quick access to elevators). The set of art work and artifacts is legendary. I very much enjoyed our time at the Louvre and recommend using a Guide to enhance the experience.

Matteo as a guide was excellent. The entry was seamless and the small group was perfect. Matteo was extremely knowledgeable and took us to all the key exhibits. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to save time and see the most important things with a fantastic splash of history.

This was an incredible experience all by itself but having a tour guide to help navigate the museum was awesome. Our tour guide was very informative which broadened our experience and helped us see that there is so much more behind the sculptures and paintings. I would recommend a tour guide for the first visit. It was worth it! One thing that stood out for me was when first arrived we didn’t read the directions correctly. We couldn’t find our guide. It was disappointing at first because we thought we booked on a bad site. The ticket checker person was about to sell us entry tickets. My husband suggested we go back outside to look once more. As we headed to the exit, I notice a call coming in on my cell. To my delight and relief it was my tour guide. He was looking for us too. He stayed on the phone with me as he directed me through the crowds of people. We finally made to the meeting spot. He was just as genuinely happy to see us as were to see him. He understood. That gesture alone made the whole experience wonderful! I am so grateful.

Matteo got us special skip the line tickets and then proceeded to take us to every major thing to see (including Venus de Milo, Mona Lisa, etc) as well as many other pieces. He provided insight into the history of the Louvre and art history in general that enhanced our experience. He was an incredible guide, and this tour was the best way for my family to experience the Louvre without getting lost, getting overwhelmed, and wasting a bunch of time looking fruitlessly for the stuff we wanted to see. Well worth it!

We were scheduled to tour the museum at 1030. We arrived at 1000. Our guide informed us that he would be delayed by an hour. Then he cancelled on us all together. We were very disappointed because this was our only opportunity to visit the museum. Our money was refunded, but that doesn’t mitigate our wasted time and disappointment.

We had an excellent experience on our Louvre tour. Matteo was very punctual and incredibly accommodating. We were stuck in very bad traffic and messaged him to let him know we would be 5–10 minutes late. He responded right away and said he would wait for us, and he did. Everything listed in the tour description was included, and our guide was very informative throughout the entire experience. Matteo gave us an excellent tour and made the visit much more enjoyable and meaningful. Highly recommend!
