Description
Faites cette visite intéressante dans l'ancienne prison du KGB avec un guide professionnel parlant anglais et norvégien. Pendant la visite, vous pourrez visiter: l'ancienne prison du KGB, la salle des exécutions, des expositions modernes sur le mouvement de résistance et les déportations et plus encore. La visite guidée dure environ 1 heure, mais vous pouvez rester après la visite dans le musée pour jeter un coup d'oeil aux photos et à l'exposition sur les déportations, le KGB, le mouvement de résistance en Lituanie. Le billet d'entrée au musée n'est pas inclus dans le prix de la visite (6EUR par personne).

Le musée a été établi dans l'ancien bâtiment du KGB, où les crimes du régime soviétique ont été planifiés et exécutés pendant cinquante ans. Les visiteurs peuvent visiter : l'ancienne prison du KGB, les locaux où les condamnations à mort ont été exécutées, des expositions modernes racontant la perte de l'indépendance au milieu du XXe siècle, les répressions des autorités soviétiques et la lutte acharnée et persistante pour l'indépendance. Nous marcherons dans l'ancienne prison où étaient détenus et torturés les prisonniers politiques. Vous verrez où et comment ils ont été tués. Une chambre sur 19 est dédiée à l'Holocauste juif, car de 1941 à 1944, le bâtiment a été utilisé comme siège de la Gestapo et du SD allemands et comme prison, caserne du Sonderkommando de la ville de Vilnius, qui a tué des Juifs et d'autres. En septembre 2018, le pape François a terminé sa visite en Lituanie au musée du KGB et a prié pour les victimes du régime soviétique en Lituanie. Le prix des billets 6EUR n'est pas inclus dans le prix du voyage.

Reminded me of the struggles for Lithuanian independence which has made them vigilant in protecting their dignity and culture. There is a strong sense of pride and conservatism in Vilnius, an atmosphere of strength and resilience.
Perfect, wonderful, 100% real, mostly because the KGB conducted its operations in this very building, with the cells in the basement. An essential visit if you visit Vilnius

I recommend this visit, which is necessary, which allows us to know more about this part of history. The signs are well made. Nevertheless, the welcome of professionals is not pleasant...
We had a very good and informative guiding,- our guide Dorma had very good knowledge about everything at the museum and the history of Lithuania. We spent nearly two hours together and this was really excellent!!.
If you are in Vilnius carve out an hour to visit this museum which is semi-centrally located in a beautiful building just behind Gedimino prospekt. You will see the cells used to imprison Lithuanian patriots, the execution room, maps and period documents as well as very detailed historical descriptions. 6 euros well spent Visited Sunday, 20 October 2024 morning
immersive visit to the time of the KGB (small part on the Nazi occupation), we wander through the dungeons etc... very impressive.
We had a wonderful guided tour with Lukas in Vilnius. He knows his history and arranged most things for us. Very positive and nice guy. Highly recommended 😊
Excellent tour. I highly recommend. Fascinating content and history telling. Lucas was very passionate and knowledgeable, which made his explanations about the awful history of KGB very fascinating. Both myself and my daughter really enjoyed it. 5 stars!
Extensive material that depicts life during the Russian occupation, the road to liberation of Lithuania and the horrors of deportation. The KGB prison is very moving and definitely not for the faint hearted
