Javier the guide did not communicate much details the day before on what to expect. The day of I message him and asked if he was on time or running late and he said he was here and outside. We came downstairs of the hotel and nobody was here. I called him and he said he was 4 minutes away. During the ride there was 3 people total. This was me and my friend and one other person. When he seen that my friend knew Spanish, everything he spoke was in Spanish. I did not book a Spanish tour. He did not say English and Spanish at that point, just Spanish. When we went to the thermal pools, he ended up using them as well. Then on the ride back, he got out of the ride and let the driver drop us off. I was the one who had to ask about lunch and the items that can be brought. He should have been the one to inform us of that-that’s the point of a guide. The driver was fine. I very much enjoyed the experience itself but did not enjoy the customer service from Javier. VERY disappointed with Javier. I have been on multiple trips with Viator and none with a guide like this.
