Visite guidée de Pompéi avec billet d'entrée

This turned out to be a disaster! We made our way to pompeii scavi station and headed to the main gate at 9.45 am. Asked several guides, no one knew Maxs tours. Tried calling no reply! Walked down the hill and asked around tour guides again no one knew them. Back to the main gate no luck tried calling again no reply. I eventually messaged, after the information post at the ruins told me the meeting point i was given was inside the ruins which without a ricket we could not get to. They call me to advise we missed them and that was that! He did send me admission tickets so we could go in ourselves. Not what i paid for. Then had the cheek to tell me they are a small company. I could have a full refund provided i did not write a bad review. Obviously i declined i would not want anyone to be caught like us. Find another tour operator. Ruined the experience! And i paid for a service i did not receive. Poor instructions, poor response to calls, absolutely disgusted!!! To top it all the person i spoke to even deleted the message which told me i could have a refund if i did not leave a bad review.

Today we had the pleasure and honor of visiting the excavations with Professor Alfonso. Tour guide is too simplistic, Alfonso is an excellent speaker: cultured, sympathetic and empathetic, able to involve you in the past life of Pompeii. If we could we would have stayed with him all day ❤️. Thank you for accompanying us and cheering. When you do the job with passion...it's not a job ❤️

Visit to the excavations led by Anastasia, a serious and very prepared guide. Despite the heat, walking in the ancient streets, entering the forum or the domus (beautiful that of the faun) was an incredible experience. The cost of 44€ can be said to be repaid by all that we have learned. To be redone... always with Anastasia as a guide!

Rosaria was the perfect guide for our family of four, including two elementary-age kids. She was engaging, full of interesting information and kept the kids pretty focused during a punishingly hot day in Pompeii—an awesome feat ;) Thank you for a wonderful, informative-for-all tour, Rosaria!!!

Our tour of POMPEII was incredible! Our amazing guide Maria "Rosy" Rosaria was so knowledgeable. She really made the city come alive, as we walked the ancient streets and experienced what life must have been like. I loved all of the extra information that Rosy contributed; especially considering she customized the tour path according to our wishes. It was like walking through Pompeii with a genuine archeologist at your side !! (Which she is - in fact) Well worth the effort, time, and money. Thank you Rosy. PS - bring a hat!! That sun is brutal! 🥵🌞

The Contractor: 2h guided tour in Pompeii. What happened: I was caught at 10:00, we entered Pompeii after 10:30 and finished the tour at 12:00. The visit itself, despite good information, was poor in places in Pompeii. Even 1 term (it's 4 if I'm not mistaken) the guide showed us. I strongly suggest: buy your door ticket and an audio guide. Make your own tour. Cheaper, in your time, without counter-tempors.

Our guide was a lovely Italian lady. But I have forgotten her name! However, she led us around about 1030 for @ 2 hours. She explained beautifully the features and was ever so helpful.
