Visite guidée de Peggy's Cove et Halifax

We were expecting an actual tour where the guide provides information about each site visited but we were simply driven around from site to site. It was our understanding that we booked a tour as this is how it was listed on Viator's site. Unfortunately, the tour guide who was purely just a driver could not provide any meaningful info to help appreciate the area and the sites we were visiting. We ended up searching online to get info about each of the sites we visited. This "tour" was a waste of money and way overpriced for the driving service.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent experience! I had a wonderful time on the Peggy’s Cove and Halifax Highlights Sightseeing Tour. The tour was well organized, and we got to see some beautiful places around Halifax, especially Peggy’s Cove. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience enjoyable. Everything was smooth and comfortable from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Halifax!

The young man, Jess, who was our guide and driver was an absolute gentleman, polite, and informative. We also went to the maritime Museum, Titanic gravesite, and the beautiful public gardens besides Peggy's Cove. He provided bottles of water for us. Jess made it a very nice and pleasant day.

Our guide Jes was brilliant. My fellow companions and I had a very enjoyable day. We saw everything scheduled and more. I highly recommend this tour.

It was not a tour at all, just a scenic drive!!! Our only consolation was taking a thousand pics of the sites. 😆

This is just a transport service, not a tour. The description is misleading. It said professional tour guide. There's no tour guide, only a driver who knows next to nothing about the history of Halifax and the places we visited. When asked questions, the answer more often than not was "I have no idea." We only got to visit 3 out of the 4 sites as it turned out Citadel would charge $22 per vehicle occupant. There were 7 in the van including the driver. They should have known ahead of time there's a charge. This was an overpriced transport service. Also, the description said the tour is 5 hours, it is not. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 to be fair because we did get transported to the sites listed. First time to be sooo disappointed by a Viator tour.

There was no tour guiding to speak of. Our group rode in 2 vans. Our so-called tour guides simply drove us to the points of interest. When we asked them questions about the area or points of interest, they could not even answer. We did not have “tour guides”, we had “drivers.” What a waste of our money. We should get a refund. I DO NOT recommend this tour.

Dangerous driving with multiple near-misses that put us at real risk. The van was dirty, smelled bad, and had ripped seats. The driver was barely understandable. There was no narration all day, meeting and timing were unclear, and we learned nothing about Halifax or the stops. Other guests felt the same. Worst tour we have taken.
