Very knowledgeable guide. The added Ripper Vision was a plus. Ability to identify murder sites now taken over by modern buildings was fantastic.

I booked this for my husband who loves murder mysteries. This is a little bit eery and very informative. So glad we did it.

We were late but caught Up. It was interesting. Dry thought provoking, I wish we had made it in time. Guide really seemed like he had a lot of insight, And enjoyed what he was doing.

I went into this tour with some expectations. Of course I understood that many of the places where the Ripper crimes occurred would not exist anymore. The city has drastically changed since those days. However, I thought we would visit as close to the locations as possible. I thought the Ripper Vision might even be superimposed over a current structure showing what it looked like back in the day. None of this was the case. There were no moments of our guide pointing at a spot and saying "it happened right here!". This is really just a story-telling excursion that happens to take place in the same general area as where the murders happened. There were some interesting POIs. For example, the Ten Bells Pub, from where the Ripper lured two victims. But most of it was our guide walking us around and talking about each murder and potential suspects. Why am I giving this tour 4 stars? Our guide, Rob, was very entertaining! He gave tons of information and discussed the crime scenes, suspects, and even delved a little into modern efforts to solve these crimes. If the guide had been someone without the dramatic flair that Rob possesses maybe this would have lost another star. But Rob made it just about worth it. And, certainly, walking around Whitechapel and seeing the old buildings at night gave it all a spooky ambience. In the end I think they do the best they can, but it's tough to give a tour of something that doesn't exist anymore.

Great tour. Our guide was Mick. He was somewhat of an expert and has even written a book on the subject. I don't know if you can request a certain guide but if you do this tour try and request Mick. He was very descriptive about the cases, brings you to the exact spot of the murders when possible (some things have been torn down and new things built), he had pictures/drawings of crime scenes. Some of it was quite gruesome but so, so interesting considering the killer was never caught.

The guide made the tour awesome, his knowledge and voice was so good. Yes he has a voice that I can listen to every day.

It’s a lot of walking but worth it. Try to get the guide that dresses up like the doctor. He’s awesome. I think his name was Joe.

Put on your walking shoes for this Ripper tour to see all the pertinent sites. A bit creepy because you can picture the crimes in front of your eyes. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and even dressed the part. We enjoyed seeing these scary parts of London, thanks!

It’s not you expect , it’s a lot better . Do the 7.30 pm tour, it was dark when we did it and it makes it a little bit scarier . Tour guide was very good knew his stuff and was very nice
