Stunning experience and the Guide was excellent
Amazing tour and a must see in Rome. Added bonus that its completely underground and keeps you cool. The VR portion was awesome, bringing to life what the Golden Palace would have looked like. Our tour guide was outstanding.
Unbelievable discovery and if you think there is only 15% of the whole palace uncovered, imagine the rest...

I would highly recommend the tour of "Domus Aurea Guided Tour: The Golden House of Nero", run by Eternity tours. Our guide was superb, she had excellent knowledge, she was enthusiastic and enjoyed leading the tour. The tour incorporated technology, history and archeology to bring the ruins to life, placing them in their context and allowing us to experience them as they were when they were functioning. Great tour!!!
I thought this tour was very good. Our guide Renata was very knowledgeable and navigated us through the large underground tunnels of the palace. The virtual reality part was the highlight!
