Votre voyage culinaire commence à Skanstull, la porte sud de Södermalm. Autrefois zone industrielle, elle est devenue un quartier animé où la tradition rencontre la vie urbaine moderne. Nous flânons le long de Götgatan, une rue animée bordée de boutiques, cafés et commerces locaux. Notre premier arrêt est une boutique familiale de fruits de mer avec plus de 60 ans d'histoire, où nous dégustons des spécialités et en apprenons davantage sur les riches traditions de pêche de la Suède. Alors que nous nous déplaçons dans le SoFo branché, nous visitons des restaurants triés sur le volet et des boutiques spécialisées proposant tout, des fromages artisanaux et des charcuteries aux plats suédois traditionnels et modernes. En chemin, nous explorons l’histoire, la culture et le patrimoine culinaire de la région. Notre voyage se termine dans un atelier chocolatier renommé, où sont fabriqués artisanalement des pralines, des pâtisseries et des gâteaux depuis près de 30 ans. Nous terminons avec une fika suédoise, dégustant des confiseries artisanales et un riche chocolat chaud – une fin douce à notre promenade savoureuse à Södermalm.

We enjoyed the small size of our group and the variety of locations that we visited. We tasted a nice mix of Swedish culinary culture. I would have enjoyed a little more narration on the walking portion of the tour.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on this walking food tour. Our guide, Amelia (yes, spelled just like Amelia Earhart!), was wonderful. She was incredibly knowledgeable about Stockholm, so charming, genuinely kind, and made every stop engaging with fascinating stories about the city and the food we were tasting. The food itself was outstanding. This was, hands down, the best food tour we’ve ever done. There was plenty to eat, every stop was thoughtfully chosen, and Amelia provided excellent context about each dish, its history, and its place in Swedish culture. It felt like so much more than just a series of food tastings. One of the unexpected highlights was the group. We met wonderful people from Chicago, Australia, and Canada, and it really added to the experience. By the end of the tour, it felt like we had made new friends. If you’re visiting Stockholm, don’t hesitate to book this tour. Great food, a fantastic guide, wonderful company, and an unforgettable experience. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

This was probably the best food tour I’ve bee done! You get to try so many different spots and types of food. Amelia was our guide, and she was amazing! Super friendly and knowledgeable about the food and some fun facts about the city.

It was an experience and worth every cent. Amelia was a fantastic tour guide, provided a lot of interesting information about the food, but also about the Södermalm district and Stockholm. The small group was ideal for mutual international exchange. The restaurants were very varied and provided a delicious insight into Swedish cuisine and culture. The more than 3 hours flew by. Outstanding tour! Our guide Amelia was fantastic, 10 out of 10. All the food was great - the meatballs, fika, ramen, pickled herring (and I don't usually like fish). The only modification I would suggest is to skip the street food and replace it with another option. But the tour was a true highlight of our Stockholm visit.

Honestly, this was one of the best tours (not just food tours) that I've ever been on. There were multiple reasons that my wife and I had such a great experience most importantly because of our tour guide Oliver from Food Tours Stockholm. Oliver was engaging, thoughtful and incredibly knowledgeable about the food scene in Stockholm. We focused on the Södermalm area of Stockholm and visited 6 different delicious restaurants or stores. Over the 4 hour tour, Oliver walked us through the neighborhood and provided great historical insights. He also gave each of us a book with more information about each restaurant which we got to take home. All 6 stops were great but the best of bunch were Ursprung with tastings of multiple fish, meats and cheeses, Meatballs for the People (so good we went back the next day for more meatballs) and Olkemi for their locally brewed beers and tasty ramen. Truly an incredible tour and I hope that everyone enjoys it as much as we did.

We thoroughly enjoyed a nice variety of high quality delectable foods and remarkable drinks. A series of passionate proprietors gave us decorative and generous helpings and shared their stories and Swedish traditions. I cant wait to get back to shop in all of the places we visited. Our guide, Kristen, also did a terrific job adding architectural and historic site insights along the way. It was a rainy day, yet our small group all had a fabulous time.
