Did not happen as driver failed to turn up and we were left standing without transport in Penang. Disappointed.
We had a very nice guided-tour with Francis, who was our guide during our holidays in Malaysia. He could tell us a lot about the cultural and historical background of the city. He was very understanding towards our kids.
Ricky was a lovely guy. He was a very careful driver and very patient. The tour was excellent, he took us to lots of interesting places and gave us a great insight into this amazing city.
The description of this tour did not match the reality. The driver was very kind and friendly, but could not be heard clearly in the van and spoke heavily accented English. He could name sites, but was not a trained guide at all. The description mentioned a tour of Fort Cornwallis. We simply drove by it, he pointed and said "Fort Cornwallis" The description mentioned a trishaw ride through Little India. That was a big draw for me, but was not in the actual plan. The description did NOT mention a stop at an expensive jewelry shop, but that WAS included. This is not an expensive tour, but be aware that the description is quite misleading. I do not fault the driver, truly. But you should not expect a professional guided tour - rather a curated taxi ride/walk around the city. We booked a four hour tour and terminated after two hours. If you are budget conscious, have just arrived, and just want to see an overview, without much background, then this might be good for you. If you want a truly guided tour, a more expensive option is more appropriate.

A pretty good Tour overall , with Mr Wong being a friendly , knowledgeable and informative guide . Particularly enjoyed the lengthy trishaw ride , and also being able to wander in a leisurely manner through the fascinating ''Stilt Houses'' .

Our guide was Heric, very nice and informative gave us an overall understanding of the history of Georgetown. A good introduction to Penang. He was happy to let us walk around and see what we wanted. Recommended. Kevin and Liz McHugh

We were in port for the day from a cruise ship. It happened to be January 1st so there was lots of local activities. The streets were crowded with local parades, etc. and some of the sites to visit were closed. Our guide did her best to drive through the streets and show us what little we could see in the time we had considering the slow movement and crowds. It was hot!! Not a great day. I did not get a good impression of Penang and will not return. I can't blame our guide though. She did her best.

The guide just sokind and knowledgeable... Having a guide it is allowed you to visit and much more than by yoiurself. I recommend to everybody...

We spend a wonderful day. Places to visit were great. Thank you and next time.
