Brian was an amazing guide and shared funny and interesting stories about the city. Totally recommend.
I thoroughly enjoyed traveling through Denver. Seeing where gold was discovered. Being told the Jefferson Smith soap scam. Lol, but awful. Seeing Margaret Brown's home, a survivor of the Titanic and woman's suffragist. Seeing where GONE WITH THE WIND's Hattie McDaniel attended school. The five story (3 stories below ground) DENVER MINT holding lots of gold was interesting to note, along with the gold leafed COLORADO STATE CAPITOL BUILDING. The staking out of Larimer Square. The story of SOUTH PARK creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone saving CASA BONITA aka "The Greatest Restaurant in the World." A banned roller coaster. Murals and parks galore. So much rich Denver history packed into these two hours. My tour was guided by Mark of DISCOVER DENVER BUS TOURS, who sang and informed. If Mark is your guide, you're in for a treat.
Our tour guide, Mark, was wonderful. He was so knowledgeable about the city and its landmarks. He gave us so many ideas on places to go that were not even on our itinerary. I can’t put into words how great the tour was. Five stars!!!!
