This was such a brilliant trip. Visiting Troy has been on my bucket list for years, and our guide Serhat really helped to make the experience. He was very knowledgeable, talked us through the archaelogical finds in detail and was happy to chat history and theories with this massive history and classics nerd :) Everything was organised smoothly - collection from the hotel, the trip down to Canakkale, lunch, the ferry ride across the Hellespoint/Dardanelles Strait, and the final 20 mile drive to Troy. We stopped at services both outgoing and return, so we had chance to get coffee. Massive shout out to our driver too, who dealt with awful traffic!

It was a great tour, not only informative but well organized. The tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor! It is a long day, so unless you like burning the candle at both ends, recommend keeping the next morning free.
