Après une prise en charge matinale dans l'un des deux sites pratiques de San Francisco, votre visite de la ville commencera sur le front de mer de San Francisco, dans le célèbre Fisherman's Wharf.
Arrêt n°1 – Palais des Beaux-Arts Avant de traverser le quartier de la marina en direction de votre premier arrêt. Au charmant et instagrammable Palais des Beaux-Arts, vous aurez l'occasion de vous arrêter et de photographier le bâtiment historique, le parc et le lagon d'une beauté époustouflante.
Continuez jusqu'à l'arrêt le plus emblématique du Golden Gate Bridge.
Arrêt n°2 – Golden Gate Bridge Passez 10 à 15 minutes à un point de vue parfait à prendre des photos et à créer des souvenirs.
Arrêt n°3 – Land’s End Overlook La prochaine étape de votre visite des points forts de la ville de San Francisco sera l'historique Land's End, où vous pourrez vous dégourdir les jambes tout en surplombant les bains Sutro et la côte de l'océan Pacifique.
Les bains Sutro étaient un grand complexe public privé de piscines d'eau salée situé dans la région de Lands End du district extérieur de Richmond, dans l'ouest de San Francisco, en Californie. Construit en 1896, il est situé à proximité de Cliff House, de Seal Rocks et du parc Sutro Heights. L'installation a brûlé en juin 1966 et est maintenant en ruines dans la zone de loisirs nationale du Golden Gate et dans le quartier historique de Sutro.
Ocean Beach est une plage située sur la côte ouest de San Francisco, au bord de l'océan Pacifique. La « Grande Autoroute » longe la plage, et la Cliff House et le site des anciens bains Sutro se trouvent à l'extrémité nord. La plage fait partie de la zone de loisirs nationale du Golden Gate, administrée par le National Park Service.
Plus tard, vous serez époustouflé par la beauté du Golden Gate Park en passant devant les moulins à vent hollandais, le jardin de tulipes de la reine Wilhelmina, l'enclos des bisons et les vieux bosquets de séquoias et d'eucalyptus.
Le moulin à vent hollandais est le nord des deux moulins à vent en activité, situé à l'extrémité ouest du Golden Gate Park à San Francisco. Il a été achevé en 1903 et inscrit sur la liste des monuments désignés de San Francisco le 6 décembre 1981.
Pâturage ancien abritant un troupeau de bisons d'Amérique, entretenu par le zoo de San Francisco.
Nous vous ferons ensuite traverser le quartier de Haight-Ashbury, où vous pourrez voir certaines des célèbres maisons victoriennes de San Francisco, connues pour leur architecture emblématique.
Arrêt n°4 – Twin Peaks Si le brouillard le permet, la prochaine étape de cette visite vous offre une vue plongeante sur toute la région de la baie depuis le sommet de Twin Peaks. Ici, vous aurez une vue panoramique imprenable sur le Golden Gate Bridge, le mont Tamalpais, le mont Diablo, toute la baie et bien plus encore depuis le point de vue situé à 1 000 pieds au-dessus du niveau de la mer. Dire que c’est époustouflant serait un euphémisme !
Déposez-vous au Pier 39 pour vos loisirs de temps libre
Rendez-vous ensuite au Quai 33 pour monter à bord de votre ferry pour la visite de la prison de l'île d'Alcatraz.

Very intereting, strolling around san fransisco

When I booked this tour, I was looking for more of a group experience with a real guide, which is what I purchased. Because of not having enough people sign up for the tour, we were told to do the hop-on hop-off bus tour and then meet up at the Alcatraz departure pier, to go on that tour at 2;15pm. Well, it's very hard to plan that out when you have no idea how long the hop-on hop-off bus is going to take. When could we get off the bus to eat lunch and still have time to get to the pier. Plus I couldn't get much information before I left for San Francisco. So once we were here, I had to contact the company the day before our tour to even get the information I needed before going on the tour. We were on three different hop-on- hop-off buses, one of them we were stuck in the bottom of the bus due to the number of people on there and it was sweltering hot over eighty degrees. For some reason, the heat was on, let's just say I was not impressed with the hop on hop off bus experience. I didn't want that to begin with. I wanted a traditional tour bus with a live guide that could answer questions and give me recommendations. The Alcatraz portion of the tour was fine. As we had to go pick up our tickets at the will call booth.That was no problem. The bus portion was very disappointing.I will never use this company again. The real kicker was, they would not give me a refund. They changed the tour. I either had to do the hop on hop off bus as replacement or try to schedule the tour another day that they would have the full tour that they advertised. I did not have an other available day. That's the most discouraging part. I would have been fine with taking my money back and getting it different tour. But that was not an option. I paid almost $300 for two people on this tour. The Alcatraz tickets were only $30 at the pier, and the hop-on hop-off tickets were only $40 for the day pwe day. So basically, I could have spent $70 per person instead, I spent a $150 a person. That sucks.

Great if you wanna spend the morning hitting all the major sights with about 4-5 stops for pictures and driving by the rest. They get you to the ferry area just in time for a little lunch and to board the ferry to Alcatraz if you do that option.

Very unorganized. I received many texts messages with different meet times. One time says meet at 815. Then another stated 215.

While this tour didn’t really live up to its description, I did enjoy it. We didn’t see everything on the list, which was frustrating. I understand traffic and things, but ending early to accommodate people who didn’t follow directions and being their documents for Alcatraz was super annoying. We saw Presidio, Lands End, Fisherman’s Wharf, Golden Gate Park. The guide was good and offered lots of tips and suggestions. Alcatraz was great and they let you stay on the island as long as you want (until last ferry back), which was great. The island is run by the IS Parks service and was well worth the visit.
