Amazing half day tour of the incredible blue city, everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the towns history from our guide!
Badr was my driver who was a very nice young man. He made stops on the way for me since I am into photography and wanted certain shots. It was a long day of approximately 4 hours each way from Rabat with 4 hours in the Blue City. This visit was a highlight of my 3 week trip to Morocco. Weather was perfect, great driver and tour guide Hazim who knew everyone in the city and perfect photo spots. I had told him I didn’t need lunch or shopping, just wanted to sightsee and take photos and see what used to be the Jewish section of town. I had free time at end to climb tower in square for views. Perfect day and would highly recommend. It was over $300 just for me but was worth it!
The trip was great! Long, but still good :) I am very happy with the driver, Issmail as well as the guide, Fouad. Both of them were very nice and kind people. It was a long ride from Rabat. Whenever there was a photo opportunity, Issmail didn’t hesitate to stop the car and sometimes he even took my pictures. Whenever I needed a restroom break, or coffee break, he always accommodated my requests. Fouad was the local guide, who was born and raised in Chefchaouen, so he knew many people while we were walking the streets and explaining me the history, the people. And also he stopped every IG worthy corner to help me with the pictures as well. This was absolutely a no complaint trip for me!
Our driver was excellent, professional and the car comfortable. Communications for the activity was excellent. The guide at the Blue City was fine but I wished he had not dropped us at a rug vendor. The visit used valuable time. The lunch spot that he dropped us off at had decent food but service was extremely slow and they forgot about my dessert until I was ready for the check. Lunch took well over an hour. I would recommend that they find another option for lunch and make the rug vendor visit optional. I am still glad we did the trip. The Blue City was wonderful.
This trip was everything we expected and more. Yes - the drive is long, but it was a very scenic drive in a comfortable car with a great driver (Ismail). Our tour guide in the city did a great job explaining what we were seeing and making sure that we got to see everything that we wanted to. We would do this again.
It is a long ride to and from Rabat and that is why I went on this tour by myself. My wife didn't want to spend so much time in a car. The driver arrived promptly at the agreed time. The long ride though was part of the experience. The driver was a stand in for the normal driver who was his brother but sick that day. We conversed about many things on the way up to the Blue City and the conversation was fun and informative. The car was very comfortable. When we arrived, I was introduced to a city guide. He explained a lot to me and I was happy with the tour. Except for one aspect of the tour. He took me to a carpet store pretending that this was a carpet mill. There was one loom in the building, but it appeared to be just a display. Then I was subjected to a great deal of pressure to but carpets that I told them that I didn't need. My guide disappeared during the sales pitch. We finally left but I was annoyed by this experience. Everything was great other than the sales pitch. My recommendation to others is to use this service but decline going to the carpet "factory". And the city is not to be missed. When I tell people that I traveled to Morocco, usually the first thing they ask is if I visited the Blue City. I am happy to say that I did.
The driver was very punctual in picking us up and driving us both safely. The local tour guide, Hazim, was most informative, kind and bought us snacks and gave us more time than expected. We highly recommend both the driver and tour guide for this side trip!
One day trip from Rabat to Chefchaouen was intensive but absolutely worth of it! Great service from Airport Rabat Taxi - collected in front of our accomodation in Rabat just on time at 8:00, arrived in Chefchaouen at 12:00, welcomed by local guide Walid who served us with mint tea at a top roof terrace in the center of city, then guided us through the beautiful blue streets and show the local amenities, advised us for a lunch at one of the best restaurants, and after all had one our left to search the medina alone...perfect escape day from big Moroccan cities
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re glad you enjoyed your trip to Chefchaouen and that everything went smoothly. We truly appreciate your trust and hope to see you again in Morocco!
Our driver was the most pleasant young man, however, in communication communications with the company, I asked if he spoke English, and they said yes, he did. However, he did not speak English, and the only way we could communicate was through the translation app, and while he was a lovely young man, it did make the experience a little more challenging.
Tour was very personable and we felt we got more than our moneys worth. Bade was very professional and punctual and help ensure we were taken care. I highly recommend this company
Thank you so much for your feedback and for the wonderful day
