I booked this tour using Tripadvisor and it was an amazing experience. Before going to Ronda, we made a stop at Setenil de las Bodegas. This town was a wonderful and fascinating surprise with its houses built into the cliffs. We had 2 hours to discover it on our own pace. In Ronda, we had a guided tour of 1 hour which included the most important landmarks of the town (Bullfight Arena (from outside), Puente Nuevo, Old City) and then 2 hours to explore the city. The guide (Monica) was wonderful, she gave us lots of interesting information on the bus on the way to Setenil and Ronda and on the guided tour in Ronda.
A great day out but the guided tour was quite tough with the heat. We knew it would be pretty warm but nevertheless it’s not for the frail! Our guide was lovely and nearly always found shade to talk to us (both Spanish and English). Would recommend 👍🏻
Great trip with our fantastic guide Pedro. Although a full day - it’s still not enough time to do Ronda justice.
Gloria was fabulous! She was very knowledgeable but didn’t over-do it. Lots of opportunities to have free time so you can enjoy the locals shops or sit and eat. The climb down and up can be slippery recommend good footwear!
Pedro is amazing! Great tour!
We enjoyed the Ronda tour. It is a beautiful town. Although I booked an English tour, the tour turned out to be in both English and Spanish. This was not conveyed beforehand. Monica was a very good tour guide although we had trouble understanding her English at times
Nice trip around Ronda and the region. Easy and informative trip on bus and guide. Nice storie and facts
The destinations are beautiful, but some issues from the visit to Ronda hurt the experience. The time spent there is precisely the sunniest time in the city, when some tourist attractions close. The intense heat is uncomfortable at this time and the guided tour was not worth it and stole an hour of time in the city that would have been valuable.
Miriam took control of a very large group and the trip was a wonderful experience Perfect weather always helps . I got to see and do everything I hoped to. Highly recommended
The tour itself was interesting and our guide was great. The reason I rated it so low is that half the group on our tour didn't pay attention to very clear instructions, and while everyone was getting off the bus, decided to remain on the bus, so we left for the tour. About 15 minutes into our tour, that we paid for, the guide got a call from the office regarding the unhappy guests that "she abandoned." We continued the tour and about 15 minutes later, the group joined us, were yelling at the guide in front of all of us and demanded she repeat everything she had already said to us. So to appease them, she did, making all the people who know how to follow clear instructions to wait for her to repeat in both Spanish and English. This also put the tour behind. So not only were we delayed, we had to witness the guide be verbally abused by guests which was distressing. Because of this situation, it shortened the amount of free time we had and we were quite rushed to try to see some of the city before leaving. When we returned to the bus, some of those people were yelling at her again. It was ridiculous. Had that not have happened, the tour would have been great! My biggest reason for the two stars is that the company itself allowed their guide to be abused by guests and when I reached out to them about the situation, they didn't bother to respond. There are lots of options for tours to Ronda. I can't recommend MSE and would recommend going with a different company.
