Qadisha est connue sous le nom de Holly Valley en raison de l'existence de nombreux monastères. Il est inscrit sur la «Liste du patrimoine mondial» et considéré comme un site important pour le pèlerinage chrétien.
Bcharri est un beau village verdoyant au nord du Liban. C'est la ville des seuls cèdres de Dieu originaux restants et conservés et est le lieu de naissance du célèbre poète, peintre et sculpteur Khalil Gibran qui a maintenant un musée dans la ville pour l'honorer.
A Bcharri, le village du célèbre écrivain, poète et peintre libanais Gibran Khalil Gibran, un musée a été construit à sa mémoire par sa sœur Mary. Le musée Gibran possède 440 peintures et dessins originaux de Gibran et de sa tombe. Il comprend également ses meubles et effets personnels de son studio lorsqu'il vivait à New York à ses manuscrits privés.
Explorez l'esthétique des cèdres du village de Bcharri lors d'une visite à pied. Cette ancienne forêt débordait autrefois de cette espèce de cèdre, et son bois était favorisé par les Égyptiens, les Romains et les Perses, pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns.
Le monastère de Saint-Antoine est situé à 950 mètres d'altitude dans la célèbre vallée de Kozhaya, «le trésor vivant». Les pins et les chênes recouvrent les grandes collines qui l'entourent. Des arbres fruitiers de toutes sortes poussent tout le long de la vallée qui s'étend dans la vallée de Qannubin pour former la grande vallée de Qadisha, témoignant ainsi de l'histoire de la vie érémitique et de la quête de la sainteté au Liban.
