I had booked a morning sunrise trip to Nagarkot followed by a trek to Changunarayan temple from Sialkot village. I was picked up from my Kathmandu hotel around 5am and by 6am, we had reached Nagarkot. Along with the driver, my guide was Subhash, who knew mucha bout the place. Unfortunately for us, the sky was very cloudy and no snow peak could be seen. We then had tea at a dhaba and checked out the Buddha Peace Pagoda followed by the Ran Jhula hanging bridge. The car then drove another kilometer and dropped us at Sialkot village for where we started a trek through light forests and a trail. After about 90 minutes, we reached the Changunarayan temple. The car had already reached the temple entrance before so I could leave my jacket. We went up the stairs and spent about 30-40 mins at the temple and also some time at the shops going up. Although I was supposed to be dropped back to the hotel, I chose to get off at Lalitpur Durbar Square.

Swaymbhunath
Situé au sommet d'une petite colline à l'ouest de la vallée de Katmandou, Swayambhunath est également connu sous le nom de temple des singes. Swayambhunath est un ancien stupa bouddhiste avec un dôme blanc scintillant et une paire d'yeux vigilants peints sur son sommet. C'est l'un des sites les plus sacrés pour les bouddhistes et offre une vue panoramique sur la vallée de Katmandou.
Boudhanath Stupa
Situé au cœur de Katmandou, Boudhanath est l'un des plus grands stupas du Népal et un centre important du bouddhisme tibétain. Son dessin colossal de mandala est orné de drapeaux de prière colorés et entouré de monastères, ce qui en fait un lieu tranquille de culte et de réflexion.
Pashupatinath Temple
Situé sur les rives de la rivière Bagmati à Katmandou, Pashupatinath est le temple hindou le plus sacré du Népal dédié au Seigneur Shiva. Il est connu pour son architecture complexe, ses ghats de crémation et l'ambiance spirituelle qui imprègne la région. Les non-hindous peuvent également admirer sa beauté depuis la rive opposée de la rivière.
Kathmandu Durbar Square
Situé au cœur de la ville de Katmandou, Kathmandu Durbar Square est un complexe de palais royal historique présentant une architecture époustouflante et des bâtiments en bois finement sculptés. Il servait d'ancien siège aux rois Malla et constitue une plaque tournante de l'art et de la culture traditionnels népalais.
Patan Durbar Square
Située dans la ville de Patan, à environ 8 kilomètres de Katmandou, la place Patan Durbar est un autre complexe de palais royal, mettant en valeur l'architecture et l'art newar. Il abrite des temples, des cours et des musées bien conservés, offrant un aperçu du riche héritage du peuple Newar.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Située à Bhaktapur, ville voisine de Katmandou, la place Bhaktapur Durbar est un chef-d'œuvre d'art réputé pour son charme médiéval et son patrimoine bien préservé. Changunarayan

7 UNESCO sites day trip
Great experience, extremely knowledgeable guide Subash, speaks fluent english, total entry fee for 7 UNESCO sites are NPR6000, prepare accordingly. My trip took 10hrs 30mins, slightly rushed but nonetheless still very informative. Would recommend.

Fell in love with Kathmandu
My guide subash met me the morning of the excursion in the lobby of my hotel. He was prompt, friendly and greeted me with a warm smile. He outlined the day for me and asked me if i wanted to make any changes. He told me the main point of the trip was to make and keep me happy. Before each location he told me how far away it was and during each stop he gave me a good history of each site and allowed me to take ample photos and time on my own to absorb everything He suggested where and what to have for lunch and he and the driver returned me to the hotel safe and sound

Magnificent 1 day tour to cover Kathmandu valley
Though a bit pricey lots of things were covered in 1 day . Subhash the guide was perfect in every way for a first time traveller . Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Umesh did a great job as the guide, he showed up early and on time to pick me up which was great! He made sure to help me out by taking many great pictures of me since I was traveling solo. He made sure to keep me well informed on everything and gave me great insight on both Hinduism and Buddhism. I definitely reccomend umesh if you want to have a great and informative tour! Very good and patient guy!

Excellent Tour!
I highly recommend this tour! You can see all 7 UNESCO world heritage sites in 1 day without worrying about transportation or logistics (it makes your time in Nepal more efficient), it's all planned out for you so all you have to do is enjoy! The sites are all beautiful and the tour guide was absolutely wonderful! I would recommend requesting Sumit for your tour guide as he was excellent, the driver was wonderful too (I didn't catch his name), it was pouring rain out but somehow Sumit was still made all the sites interesting and magical, well organized, coordinated, very good info. and provided context for all the sites which you wouldn't have going on your own, and absolutely a wonderful experience! I do highly recommend! Make sure you do bring a lot of cash as you are responsible for all the entrance fees to the temple, and extra cash as most of the sites will have things you can buy (which I wasn't able to because I was running out of rupees, so exchange your money to rupees before the tour).
