A chance to see further than Dublin

A long coach trip but a chance to see magnificent mountain scenery, historic ruins within a beautiful landscape, and lunch and an opportunity to explore Kilkenny. Very informative of Irelands social and political history as well as information about the sights. Theresa went out of her way to share some traditional Irish recipes as well As Further ideas for things to do.

Perfect 1 day trip from Dublin

Very well planned day trip with well chosen sites. Wicklow mountains are a must visit and really bring the 40 shades of green to life. Kilkenny was also great with some beautifully preserved buildings. Highly recommend a walk to St Canice's cathedral at the end of the medieval walk. The day is well packed so choice needs to be made between a sit down meal vs taking in sites. Recommend carrying some pre packaged meals / snacks if sites are a priority but Kilkenny has some good restaurants as well and surprisingly affordable for a highly touristy place. Pat and Alec we're great companions for the day as well. Pat has great storytelling skills and has some amazing things to say about his homeland. It was great to learn about the past and present of Ireland from a passionate guide. Bought the day trip from Viator for 30 euros which feels well spent for the amount of joy that we got from this day.

An unforgettable day in Ireland—absolutely highly recommended!

This tour was easily one of the best highlights of my entire time in Ireland. The Wicklow Mountains are breathtakingly beautiful and truly inspiring, and Kilkenny is charming, but what made the day extra special was our incredible team. Our guide, Pat, was fantastic—incredibly knowledgeable, deeply respectful, and a wonderful storyteller who brought the history and landscape to life. Our driver, "Sir Alec" kept us moving safely and added a great sense of fun to the journey. If you want a seamless, insightful, and memorable experience of the Irish countryside, do not hesitate to book this tour!

Pat and Alec - great people, great tour

A great experience with Pat and ( Sir) Alec. Safe, informative, entertaining and funny tour- Pat and his heartwarming commentary made the picturesque Wicklow National Park and impressive Kilkenny Castle an even more unforgettable and fun experience. Great Value for money and even greater guide and driver - Thanks to Pat and Alec!

Very well organized and comfortable tour. Pat was one smooth operator. Just the right amount of outside time vs bus time.
