I truly loved my experience and would definitely recommend this excursion to everyone no matter how far your coming in from I was in phoenix and came down about 1 hr and 40 min drive but it’s so worth it the mountain and views make it worth’s drive and then when you arrive the wonderful people who own the ranch are wonderful and great people inside out you can tell they love what they do and I had the pleasure of riding bone crusher and I feel they did a great job with choosing who your horse is! Definitely worth the experience you definitely get your bang for your buck in my opinion!
One of the best memories of our family trip. The kids loved it and said they’d want to go again if we ever came back. Julian was our tour guide and did a great job!

The trail itself was scenic, and the river crossing was a highlight, but the operation felt poorly managed. Our group of 17 took about 45 minutes just to get mounted because they didn't have enough tack for all the horses. Some riders ended up with improvised equipment, including twine used as reins. I was also concerned by one older horse that appeared unwell but was still repeatedly saddled and assigned riders before being pulled. The advertised "wine country" portion was just riding down the vineyard's access road rather than through the vines pictured in the listing. One younger guide was excellent, but overall the experience felt overbooked and underprepared.
Gentle horses. Relaxing ride along the river and varied terrain. Guides were friendly and experienced. Just long enough ride.
What a magical time! The experience was excellent for all ages (our kids are 8 and 11) - and no previous horseback riding experience was needed. Sylvia made us all feel calm and knew each horse’s personality well. She shared knowledge about the flora and fauna of the local land. Riding the horse through the stream was magical. Sylvia offered to take photos of our family, which we appreciated. We opted for the morning ride to avoid heat and/or summer afternoon thunderstorms. A must do if you are visiting Cottonwood or surrounds.
We LOVED it! Julian was great getting our group saddled up for a safe ride through the area. We have zero prior experience but the animals were all fantastic and Julian was a great coach for us. The ride was a SOLID hour, after all the setup and intro. We rode through all sorts of terrain and had a great time. Thank you Julian!
Great guide and an amazing trail. Horse was great to ride with plenty of nature to experience including crossing the creek.
Great experience, very helpful and fun guide. Got to meet the horses in advance and get comfortable before riding. 10/10
