Nous nous retrouverons au centre pour votre commodité mais ne vous inquiétez pas, nous ne resterons pas ici longtemps ! Votre guide vous attendra devant l'entrée principale de la Maison municipale, un bâtiment Art-Nouveau qui abrite la célèbre salle de concert Smetana ainsi qu'un certain nombre de merveilleux restaurants et bars à vin.
Notre premier arrêt, un tout nouveau restaurant avec une version moderne de la cuisine tchèque.
Cette place est aussi un parc et c'est l'endroit idéal pour que les habitants se retrouvent en été. Nous allons découvrir la vue magnifique et nous diriger vers la nourriture - c'est pourquoi nous sommes ici en premier lieu !
Vous pensiez que Les Invalides, ou Invalidovna comme on l'appelle en tchèque, c'était juste à Paris, n'est-ce pas ? Laissez-nous vous montrer ce joyau architectural et comment l'idée d'un certain gentleman a pris vie ici. Oh et avons-nous mentionné que nous y allions à proximité ? Mais vous en attendiez autant maintenant, n'est-ce pas ?
Karlin Baracks est un véritable joyau caché dans ce quartier, ce n'est pas un cliché du tout. Nous ne pouvons tout simplement pas éviter de nous arrêter ici et de montrer cette magnifique cour avec un incroyable café / pub (ils servent à la fois un café délicieux et une bière incroyable ici) en plein centre. Essayons, d'accord ?

What an absolutely spectacular time we had with Will! One of our biggest highlights from Prague :) Will had done his research on us beforehand and had thoughtfully curated a list of restaurants and hidden gems keeping our preferences and likes in mind, which we further customized after meeting us. He effortlessly led the tour, moving from one spot to another while keeping it informational yet super fun! The Vin Chaud and sausages at the locals Christmas Market, local crafter beer and the ice cream with Prague-specific flavors were our favorites. Also, Will was so easy to connect with and made us feel like a friend from the get-go. Six years ago my wife and I did the Old Town Food Tour with Prague City Adventures. Johanka was our guide and we had a fantastic time with great food. When we booked a return trip to Prague, one of the first things we did was reach out to Johanka and Prague City Adventures. We knew we wanted to do another food tour with Johanka. She offered us a new one, this time in the Karlin area of Prague. She took us to several restaurants, each with different but excellent food. We had a variety of foods, from traditional Czech, to newer foods like Ukrainian and Vietnamese. One thing I really enjoy about Johanka’s tours is that her tours also include a lot of history as well as the food. Johanka also answered many questions and offered advice things to do and places to visit.

Our guide Nicola and the food tour were fantastic! We learned a lot about Czech history and culture and experienced local dishes with a modern twist. The food was delicious! Nicola took us to four very different and fun settings -- places we never would have visited on our own. This tour and our guide were the highlight of our trip!

My family of 4 enjoyed the private food tour in Prague with Mr. John. He did an excellent job showing us around Old Town Square and bringing us to different restaurants that were authentic to the culture. The tour felt like we were with a friend rather than a tour guide.

We booked a walking food tour for the day we arrived. Great decision. We got dinner and a good idea of some of the areas. Michaela personally guided our tour. She was engaging and personal. Her selections on where to go were spot on. We subsequently asked for additional help securing a car and driver to get us to Prague and she was happy to help. We would do this tour again without hesitation.

My mom and I took this tour with Misa (Michaela) in early August. We had a BLAST! The first stop was for chlebicky, these incredible open faced sandwiches with counter service. Highly recommend the brie and salami, my mom was a fan of the potato salad. Misa kept us walking in the shade on a hot summer day, which I really appreciated. She is so thoughtful and friendly! We spent all of the time talking about food, the history of food, and how that history intersected with the history of Prague. We went to an amazing venue with beef stew and yogurt based coleslaw which lives in my dreams since then. We also had local Czech beer here as the brewery was right outside. :) The ice cream was life changingly creamy, recommend the pistachio or sweet cream. We were getting full at this point but then we got to go to a czech restaurant and eat a trio of delicious things: fermented cheese (don't sleep on this), goulash, and another carrot-based stew with dumplings that I forgot the name of. It had cranberry jelly and whipped cream and sirloin steak; so good, trust me! We had some local wine at this point. We ended with coffee at a local student-led cafe. Overall, we had a blast on this tour and would highly recommend it!

We had a food tour as part of our summer day event! We really enjoyed it, the guide, the choice of places and overall vibe. We would definitely recommend it for the groups to visit if you'd like to try authentic Czech food.
