À 8h00, votre guide local viendra à votre hôtel et viendra vous chercher à votre hébergement en taxi et vous dirigera vers le quartier 7 où se trouve une zone non touristique pour commencer l'aventure gastronomique. Tout en restant au premier arrêt pour commencer votre journée avec un mini cours de cuisine: faire du "Banh Cuon Trung" et aussi goûter le meilleur "Pho chua dac biet" qui n'est qu'un seul restaurant à Ho Chi Minh ville le servir !!! Nous allons même vous apprendre à prononcer correctement le nom de l'aliment. Après le petit-déjeuner, nous traverserons un marché humide local chaotique, où un petit étal vend des produits séchés, marinés et frais, ainsi que des escargots vivants, des grenouilles, de la volaille vivante et de la viande fraîche. Nous en apprendrons davantage sur les fruits tropicaux de saison à l'époque. Nous nous arrêterons au «pain Banh mi Heo Quay avec du porc rôti» pour déguster le meilleur type de Bánh Mì au Vietnam. Votre immersion dans la nourriture alléchante se poursuit alors que vous vous dirigez vers les ruelles de la nourriture au cœur du quartier de la rue et goûtez un délicieux «Kem chuoi» qui est une version unique de la crème glacée à Saigon. La prochaine étape de votre aventure culinaire est «Baguette Banh mi nuong muoi ot-Saigon grillée avec sauce chillli», c'est une bonne combinaison de baguette et d'autres garnitures. En marchant au cœur du district 7, nous dégusterons "" Banh Khot Vung Tau "- crêpe de riz du Sud avec beaucoup de légumes frais vietnamiens. Nous terminons notre voyage gastronomique dans un café local où vous en saurez plus sur la culture du café au Vietnam, etc…. après cela, votre guide local prendra un taxi pour vous accompagner et retourner à votre hébergement. Cette visite convient aux débutants à Saigon, en famille avec des enfants. AMAZING! One of the highlights of our 2 weeks in Vietnam. From my 81 year old mother to my 16 year old neice, we LOVED every minute of this experience. Our tour hosts Tracey & Winer were 5 star all the way. The sights, the food, the flower market, the food market, the laughts, the information and locations they shared with us. Would highly recommend and would do it again for certain. Communication with AN Tours via WhatsApp from initial inquiry right through to our gorgeous hosts sending us pics of our epic evening - whats gold star service.
Henry was wonderful. Tour was wonderful, food was delicious and so much that we wound up taking our banh mi back to the cruise ship - just couldn't fit any more food in. When we told Henry we wanted to buy some coffee beans he took us to a special place and he was right the coffee beans were wonderful. The four of us agree we would repeat the tour. Henry and the food were just that good.
We had the best morning with Henry exploring District 7 in Ho Chi Minh City! This isn't a usual touristy place, but it's so vibrant and busy you really feel like you're living like a local. Henry is the best guide! He's really friendly, easy to understand, and knows so much about the place and the food. He's originally from Central Vietnam, so we got to try a few of yummy dishes his home region. Every spot we ate at was delicious, with food like nothing we'd ever tasted before. We also got to see the local markets with Henry, which was super fun and colorful. We were looking for a traditional Vietnamese hat, and Henry found just the right shop for us when we couldn't find it. Talk about going the extra mile! If you have kids this tour is perfect for families. Our little ones had a great time and Henry made sure they were happy and having fun the whole time. If you're in Ho Chi Minh City and want to do something really fun and different, you've got to take a District 7 tour with Henry. We learned a lot, had a ton of fun and ate delicious food. It was an amazing day we won't forget. Thanks Henry - you're the best!

We had an awesome morning with Henry - Henry, our guide met us at the cruise port and took care of everything. We had more food than we could eat, got to try our hand at rice pancake making, and walked and ate happily. What a wonderful adventure, all of the food was delicious, interesting and offered by small vendors. Henry was personable, and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend.

My family had a walking food tour with Son in district 7 of Ho Chi Minh today. It was an AMAZING tour. Son was so friendly and we really enjoyed walking around with him. He knew so much about Vietnamese culture and we learned a lot about Vietnam that we wouldn't have known by just walking around on our own. He took us to an area that tourists rarely go to and we got to see the local markets. We tried food that we never would have known to order. We also got to cook food with a local at one spot! The food was all delicious and we had a wonderful time. We wish we had booked tours with Son for more than one day! 😅😅 We HIGHLY recommend A.N Tours to anyone new to Vietnam and who may be nervous about eating street food.
