Visite gastronomique à pied des saveurs de Winter Park

Olive oil & wine stores were excellent. Restaurants' samplings were fun. We had 14 people in our group with 2 tour guides with kind hearts. It's hard to find parking spots on Saturdays. Arrive early and wear good walking shoes.

This walking tour was so fun and definitely worth doing! We got to try lots of tasty things at several local gems, and the walking wasn’t too much at all. We went on a cloudy day, but even then you aren’t outside for too long. I would gladly do another one of their tours!

I had a great time exploring the Winter Park food scene with some of my friends on this tour. As locals, we’ve been to Winter Park quite often, but this was a way to see the city from a new perspective. Lots of great eats and drinks mixed with a bit of town history. We definitely are interested in booking more tours now!

My family and I went on the Foodie Walking Tour in Winter Park, and we had an amazing time. The tour guides Rich and Michael were accommodating, knowledgeable, and entertaining. The food we sampled was delicious and the portions were generous. The guides share lots of fun Winter Park history along with some celebrity stories. We made lasting memories and it ended up being a great family experience. If you're looking for something fun, unique, and educational to do, then you got to give this a try. You will not be disappointed.

I thought this tour was a very great activity for those who like exploring new places. I enjoyed all the history that I learned about this town as well as being able to see the popular spots. The food was very good and each came with a great explanation on the food culture. The tour guides were exceptional and made sure to answer any questions. Overall, I thought it was a wonderful tour.

Michael and Sara were super guides. They were full of knowledge about the area as well as super friendly and helpful. Extra kudos to the two of them for helping search for and find our lost gift. The tour didn't miss a beat. The food was excellent and the locations were beautiful. I would recommend the tour to anyone.

I would definitely not classify this as a food tour . It’s a few stops with a tiny morsel at each stop . We have done several food tours in the past where you go into local establishments and sample something signature to the business . This tour consisted of a sample of a cookie and eclair , an olive and olive oil , a piece of bruschetta ( no fork , which made you lap it up with your fingers , soda and a sip of wine which the establishment advised had little alcohol ( I’m not a drinker so I didn’t mind but those who like wine were disappointed). One of the owners at the Steak restaurant was extremely rude ( this was the place you received bruschetta?) I don’t expect them to feed you steak but bruschetta certainly wouldn’t cause me to drive to Winter Park in the future . The tour guides were nice but again I truly wouldn’t classify this as a food tour.

I was expecting tastings at a few selected high end Park Ave. restaurants. We had a nice tasting at Blu and Choulala bakery. The rest was disappointing. For example, we sampled 3 soda flavors at the candy store and were asked to guess the flavors. We went to a ‘wine sampling’ and received about an ounce of a $14 bottle of wine. Popcorn sprinkled with spices, anyone? The tour guides were pretty knowledgeable and gave us the history of Winter Park and pointed out some popular landmarks. Overall, I do not recommend. We were left hungry and went to eat afterwards.

The two tour guides were terrific! The bits of history were appreciated! However, the restaurants were sub-par. With all the wonderful restaurants on and off Park Avenue I didn't care for the candy shop (we are adults for the most part), Fresh & Co. (which is a chain) and the seafood restaurant (cannot recall the name) that served us bruschetta???

Dan and Sarah were GREAT Guides!! We loved all our stops. We definitely recommend going on this tour!! They did a wonderful job of telling us the History of Winter Park...
