We loved our guide Elcin, she was knowledgeable and laid back. She quickly picked up on our pace and what we liked. We mentioned that we wanted to look at jewlery and Soap and she took us to several shops. I would highly recommend this tour.
Tour guide knows where the good food is at the market. Variety of food tasted. Would like more history or information about food or the owners providing it. More background provided so we didn’t have to ask.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We are glad you enjoyed the local food tastings, and we value your suggestion for providing more in-depth background and storytelling throughout the tour. Your feedback is important to us, and we hope to offer you an even more engaging experience with Gezenthi Travel Agency in the future.
Our guide Ali went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. He catered for our walking pace and even haggled for us in the market. Cant give enough praise for a job well done.

The Izmir food tour was a great experience for us. We tried food that we may not have come across if it was not because of tour guide Elcin . Elcin was kind, friendly and knowledgeable. I personally liked the pickle juice that she had us try. Highly recommended

I enjoyed our guide. We got to see more of Izmir's market than we did on our own and learned more about the history. We enjoyed the food, but I think "gourmet" in the title is misleading. I would call it a tour of traditional Turkish food.
Excellent food and cultural experience. Engin took us to places in the market we would never have visited on our own. Our tummies were full and very happy. Good pace and not rushed. Very easy to arrange and Engin spoke excellent English. Highly recommend.
