George was an incredible guide and made the experience memorable from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and provided fascinating insight into the local culture, history, and food. What stood out most was how he went above and beyond to make the tour engaging and enjoyable. I left with a much deeper appreciation for the city and its food scene. I was 100% satisfied with the experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Guadalajara.
This food tour was the perfect way to experience authentic local food beyond the tourist areas. Our guide Alejandra was amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable, the neighborhood was vibrant, and every stop offered delicious, traditional food, very interesting and unique such as tejuino and tostadas! Highly recommended for foreigners who want real Mexican flavors and culture in one unforgettable experience.
Thanks for your review! We loved meeting you and your friends hope to see you back soon!
Great introduction to local, true local, food scene. I've never experienced a food market like the one where we had the best juice. We started with the coffee / small sandwich. Then to the food market. We made a personal decision to skip the birria (too early in the day to submit our stomachs to the challenge) and finished with a sweet treat. Jorge was our guide. He was super helpful providing local insights along the way. Very knowledgeable and happy to share his wisdom.
You'll have to come back for the birria haha Thank you so much for your recommendation, we loved having you in town.
Wow wow wow!! I loved the experience of this tour. We ate delicious and our guide was excellent. I recommend it.
gracias marlene tu y tu grupo fueron increibles espero vuelvan pronto a guadalajara.
Jorge our guide was personable enough, but for what they charged for the tour ($95 pp), we felt shortchanged. Only lasted 2.5 hours not 3 as advertised, and there were very few food stops. We came away hungry. No carne en su jugo either.
Hi! Thank you for your feedback — we’re sorry to hear the experience didn’t fully meet your expectations. We’ll definitely consider adding carne en su jugo in the future. On this tour, you tasted other local favorites like birria, lonche de chilaquiles and barbacoa tacos, and more which are also key to Guadalajara’s food scene. Thanks again for joining us! Next time we will take you to eat carne en su jugo

We really enjoyed the experience I don't think I would have known Guadalajara without a good gastronomy tour like this. 100 out of 100
Nos alegra leer tu experiencia!! Esperamos verte pronto en un siguiente tour!
We loved our tour. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. Each of the places was wonderful and we left so full. Maybe too full! There was so much food. Come hungry. If you don't you'll regret it.
We are glad to hear you loved the tour! We hope to see you on your next visit to Guadalajara and eat much more delicious food
This tour was an excellent highlight of my trip to Guadalajara! Host/Guide Karen was kind and knowledgeable, introducing me to the urban neighborhood with many food options that are likely unknown to visitors. Starting with a breakfast café, to the food in the local market where locals frequent, to restaurants, small shops, and street food. This tour was a conglomeration of local cuisines and cultures. Besides the diversity of local gourmet, the tour focused on family-owned & family-run businesses. The uniqueness and organization of this tour make it a must-do experience in Guadalajara!
Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed this experience, we hope to see you on your next visit to Guadalajara!!
