Amazing bike tour! I learned so much and the food was amazing! I was not expecting that much food and it was local places! Definitely recommend!
enjoyed our ride through Honolulu - lots of great food and a beautful ride. Awesome time!
Thank you, Kelly, for a beautiful day of bike riding and Hawaiian food! We lucked out to get a day of sunshine between the rain, and you worked with us to get the best possible experience. 2 seniors (in pretty good shape) -- we felt it was the right amount of riding and eating. Food was delicious and varied. My favorites were fish tacos and shaved ice! You took us places that we would have never visited and followed up with video montage and yelp links to all restaurants. Mahalo!
Aloha and Mahalo for joining Bike Tour Hawaii for our Hawaiian Foodie Bike Tour. This experience brings people like yourself closer to the Hawaiian and local culture that makes Hawaii and its people such a special place on Earth.
Kelly was a fantastic guide: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging. He shared great island history throughout the ride, which added so much to the experience. The food at every stop was amazing; each place was a standout. A really special bonus was that Kelly made a lovely video of the entire tour and sent it to me afterward. Such a thoughtful touch! This tour was a highlight of my trip and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
Kelly was a terrific tour guide - full of LOTS of information about LOTS of things! Loved that he shared tons of recommendations by text so we can go back to some of our faves. Maladadas, poke, cooked fish, Hawaiian food, shaved ice all sooooo yummy. My Aloha shirt making big waves now that I’m home and such a great souvenir! Would have liked more biking, longer distances between stops (good to digest food too) otherwise would be 5 star (wished I could give 4.5 star).
A great way to become familiar with high-quality, affordable food options around Waikiki area. At the end of the ride, I was almost full that I skipped dinner. The guide, Kelly, was super friendly and his navigation was clear and always safety-oriented. The road was smooth and did not have many ups and downs. Perfect tour to start a stay in Waikiki.
Great selection of food. Kelly was a fun character and an encyclopedia of knowledge of the islands. He took really good care of us.
Our flight was delayed that made us miss the tour. The host was very kind and generous offering us to get on a different tour at different times. However due to the conflict scheduling we were not able to do so and he is kind enough to give us the refund. Will totally book again next time we come back.
Great day out on the bikes! We stopped not only at some great restaurants but also at some neat historical sites. He knows not only good food but also all about the city. So everywhere we went he has little speakers on the bikes so you can hear exactly what he’s saying! He is very knowledgeable about this whole state - past present and future. Kelly was very good with helping me find foods that I would eat since I do have a few food restrictions. The tacos at South Shore grill were great! I got the chicken since I do not eat fish. I also tried some local Hawaiian dishes that were very good too! Highly recommend tour!
I was surprised when I realized the size our tour group was just me, my wife, and our guide, Kelly. It's good that the tour wasn't canceled becuase of the small size. The tour route was very good; not too far, mostly flat, into the neighborhoods. Kelly was an excellent expert guide with insights into Oahu and the foods we ate. We went from tour talk to small talk to personal stories to good conversations. There was a little danger element to add excitement dealing with the cars and traffic, but Honolulu feels safer than biking in Chicago or New York City. The food was very good, I'm glad to have had the opportunity to sample different flavours.
