We loved our guide, CJ, who shared his vast knowledge of Toronto/Canadian history, interesting anecdotes and of course some fun food treats native to Toronto and Canada throughout our tour. Starting in the Distillery District helped us develop an understanding of the city’s past- and see a thriving area that any foodie will love. CJ was very entertaining and kept a good pace. I highly recommend this tour!
CJ was awesome! Incredibly knowledgeable of the City. He was extremely friendly and engaging with all of us on the tour. You won't be disappointed. The food was incredible!
The guide, CJ, was awesome in selecting the foods for the tour to emphasize the connection between mainstay Canadian foods and their history, while also giving a glimpse into the past of the structures we walked around and past and through. Moreover, CJ's demeanor was perfect--at once inviting and warm and insightful. We only had a short time in Toronto and didn't know what to expect. I would recommend this to friends/family, etc.
CJ was an outstanding tour guide; he gave detailed, extensive history on all of the foods that we had on the tour, as well as general history on Toronto, its various districts and the buildings along the way of the tour. He made the day fun!
Booked this tour looking to get a better look at Toronto's Distillery district & Waterfront. The food was great! Loved the poutine and the Beaver tails were amazing! CJ has a fantastic understanding of the area and provides a bunch of recommendations for diving further into the scene. Would recommend to any hungry tourists looking to get a better understanding of the area!
During one of my last days in Toronto, I met CJ who was selling tours by the CN Tower, and I ended up booked the “Toronto food tour” with him. Although I am a bit of a picky eater he was able to take me to some great food spots that I would now recommend to anyone! I had such a fantastic time, and I’m grateful to have met such a kind and knowledgeable tour guide! 10/10 would recommend!!
AMAZING FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE ! It was honestly a pleasure meeting CJ, me and my friends saw the gentleman selling tours, and he described everything involved in the tour throughly, and did not rush through our whole interaction with a smile. Would 10/10 recommend trying the Great white north for tour.
Thoroughly enjoyed meeting CJ in front of the CN tower as he was offering the tours. Was downtown with friends looking for a lunch spot and decided to let him guide us to some great food. You just can't turn away from a good peameal sandwich. CJ kept us entertained with his stories and knowledge of the city. A very friendly young man who made our visit to the city that much more interesting. Would highly recommend his service, already planning to try one of his other tours.
The poutine was straight yummy goodness, cheese gravy melted perfectly on the fries, i cant believe i havent had this sooner. The peameal was great to but the poutine was insane. 10/10
The poutine was super delicious and savoury, but my favourite was definitely the butter tart. Very surprisingly sweet taste that I didn’t expect.
