Cette visite gastronomique en petit groupe comprend 10 dégustations à travers six arrêts au Marais, l'un des quartiers gastronomiques les plus célèbres de Paris. Un Guide Expert Anglais vous guide à travers les traditions culinaires Français, juives et méditerranéennes qui ont façonné ces rues pendant des siècles. Vous dégusterez des escargots avec du vin dans un restaurant local, dégusterez des fromages artisanaux accompagnés de cidre normand dans une fromagerie familiale et dégusterez des falafels frais dans le quartier juif le long de la rue des Rosiers. La pièce maîtresse est une dégustation assise de bœuf bourguignon et de soupe à l'oignon Français dans un steakhouse. Chaque plat et boisson est inclus dans le prix, de la première baguette à la crêpe finale. Cette visite est idéale pour les voyageurs amateurs de cuisine qui veulent manger comme un local sans la conjecture de trouver les bons endroits par eux-mêmes.

Votre Guide vous donne rendez-vous à côté de la Pharmacie de la place de La République, l'une des places majeures de Paris. Après une brève introduction, vous partirez à pied dans Le Marais, un quartier où les traditions culinaires Françaises, juives et méditerranéennes partagent les mêmes rues depuis des siècles.
Entrez dans une boulangerie parisienne traditionnelle et dégustez une baguette croustillante tranchée directement du four. Votre Guide explique ce qui sépare un pain de tous les jours d'une baguette parisienne digne de ce nom, et vous partagerez sur place votre première bouchée de la journée.
Installez-vous dans un restaurant de quartier pour votre première dégustation assise. De tendres escargots arrivent à table aux côtés d'un verre de vin Français. Cet accord riche en beurre capture l'une des plus anciennes traditions culinaires de Paris.
Dans une fromagerie familiale, dégustez des fromages Français artisanaux aux côtés d'un cidre normand croustillant. Votre Guide explique comment la région, le vieillissement et la technique façonnent chaque roue, de la Brie tendre au Comté vieilli.
Promenez-vous dans le quartier juif du Marais le long de l'une de ses plus célèbres ruelles pavées. Mordre dans un falafel chaud et croustillant d'un comptoir méditerranéen apprécié connu pour les portions généreuses et les saveurs audacieuses.
La pièce maîtresse de la visite est une dégustation assise dans un steakhouse. Vous dégusterez du boeuf bourguignon provenant de fermes familiales, une riche soupe à l'oignon Français et un autre verre de vin.
Votre dernier arrêt est une crêperie de trottoir tenue par deux amis qui ont commencé avec un seul panier tricycle il y a plus de dix ans. Une fine crêpe est faite fraîche sur la plaque, pliée, et terminée avec du beurre et un saupoudrage de sucre. Votre visite se termine ici, au cœur du Marais.

The food tour was just… fine. Overall, we are happy we did it because we did get to see some of Paris that we hadn’t toured ourselves and got some interesting history about the area. We didn’t think the food or wine was amazing quality, and we didn’t feel particularly well received at the sit-down (chain??) restaurant we visited. At the restaurant where we were able to sample escargot, we waited outside then went upstairs and waited upstairs. There was some back-and-forthing between the tour guide and employee and then another delay, which made everything a bit awkward/uncomfortable for us, but we did eventually get our escargot and wine. Afterward, we walked a bit then stopped to eat our bread and cheese. The bread we received was just okay-tasting small pieces to be sampled with the cheese when we were expecting to have some delicious fresh baguette. It was the kind you expect to see as a garnish on a soup, not one of the main stops on a food tour. The cheeses were all fantastic and we enjoyed them. The French onion soup and beef bourguignon were also just fine but we liked the feel of this restaurant much more than the other. We also really enjoyed the dessert crepe at the end. In future, we would pay very close attention to the reviews if we were ever to consider booking with this tour company again.

Sofia was great! I loved the historical reference to everything we saw and ate! Le Beef restaurant was also very accommodating with my food allergies. My favorite food was the falafel at Marianne’s. I’m not a big fan of falafels but that place changed my mind!!

Sophia is so knowledgeable! Delightful! And real!! The food was outstanding!!! My only complaint was that there was too much onion soup and beef burgoininne. It could have been shared. It was such a sin to throw away so much! But it was delicious!

This food tour was the best experience! Our tour guide Sofia was knowledgeable and so charming. Her experience really added so much more to the experience! The food stops were well planned and we left very full! My favorite was the cheese and crepe stop! A must do if you visit Paris!

I can't think of a better way to spend 3 hours in Paris than eating your way through Montmartre, with Sofia as a guide. Sofia led us to some of the best eats, a little here and a little there and a 2 course meal, and pointed out interesting things and landmarks along the way, and even gave us the background and history. The food was delicious, varied, and plentiful. Everyone in the group agreed that they couldn't have eaten another bite. Thank you Sofia for the wonderful tour.
