Fabulous food tour with Matthew! He was a lot of fun and extremely knowledgeable! Everyone on our tour raved about him. I have done several food tours but this one was at the top,

Matthew made this tour fun and interesting. He was so easy going and provided much more than just food stops. His knowledge of the area and the food made us want to do another food tour today!

We really enjoyed the food tour with Olivia. She had a lot of information for us about the food and drinks offered. Through her warm nature she has made the tour a great experience.
Reading this made our day. There’s something special about hearing that a guest walked away feeling they had a genuinely good experience, not just a good meal. We’re really glad we could be part of that!
Good food experience, with a little Paris history and history of food tastes. Some cider and wine to drink.
Thank you for taking a moment to share this. We’re glad the experience felt smooth, welcoming, and easy to enjoy throughout. We’d be happy to host you again with Secret Food Tours!
We joined this tour as a family, expecting a classic walking food tour experience through authentic local dining spots. We were in Paris after all, with hundreds of options in the vicinity of Notre Dame. While our guide, Nana, was knowledgeable and engaging, the organization was disappointing. After only a few stops, we spent the rest of the evening in a rented former diner, eating pre-purchased food. We booked a food tour to discover the charm and atmosphere of the city’s dining scene, not to sit in a room with a group of people. It felt more like a catered event than an exploratory tour. I've been on many food tours before, and sadly, this one did not meet my expectations.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. It’s great to hear that Nana’s knowledge and engagement stood out during your tour. Guests often highlight how much they enjoy the stories and local insight our guides bring to each stop, as it adds context to every tasting along the way. At the same time, your comments about the format are well understood. Our tours are thoughtfully curated to introduce guests to a variety of local flavors throughout the neighborhood, followed by a final secret stop designed as a more relaxed, communal setting. This portion is meant to bring everything together, giving guests a chance to enjoy a wider selection of tastings while hearing the stories behind them and connecting with the group in a different way. For many, this shared experience becomes a memorable highlight, though it’s clear that it may not align with every expectation, especially for those looking for a continuous, fully walk-through dining exploration. We do appreciate you sharing your experience, as it is is valuable and helps paint a clearer picture of how different formats resonate with different guests. If your travels bring you to another city where we operate, we would be glad to welcome you again and provide a different experience that may better match what you’re looking for.
Olivia, our guide, was sweet and animated and just knew where to find the best croissants, macarons, cheese, crepes, quiche, baguettes, and dessert and wine. It was a lovely day learning about French food. Enjoyed meeting others from Alabama, California, and Germany. Just the right size of group. Fun experience. Come hungry.
We’re glad you took the time to leave this. It’s great that the tour delivered something that felt worthwhile. We’d be happy to welcome you again through Secret Food Tours!
Matt was great. His knowledge and delivery was exceptional. I knew he was awesome early on when someone asked a question and he said “ I don’t know “. Matt was friendly knowledgeable, and fun to be with !
Thanks so much for sharing this. It’s great to hear you enjoyed your time with us. We’d love to have you on another Secret Food Tours!
The tour was educational, informative, fun, gourmet & a few surprises. I have been to Paris before and I saw some places not seen before. As a tourist, it's great to actually stop & go inside the "fooderies" instead of just looking through the windows or walking past. I did not take the Wine Package this time which suited me better. Thanks to our wonderful guide, Matthew, I had a fantastic experience!
Thank you for your feedback! We’re pleased the tour left you with a strong impression. You’re welcome anytime to join another Secret Food Tours worldwide.
Aramis was friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the sights along the way. I was thankful she didn’t cancel the tour on this grey, cold and wet day. I enjoyed her company and the interesting information she shared with me. The food was very tasty too! I highly recommend this tour with Aramis!
Thanks for leaving your thoughts. We’re happy that the balance of learning and enjoying food hits the mark for you. You’re always invited to join one of our tours across the world whenever you travel!
