This was a disaster as our UBER driver dropped us off at the location noted on our reservation form but it proved to not be the meeting place. Though arriving 30 minutes early were unable to find the actual meeting place. We called the telephone number listed on the reservation and instead of a live person got only a worthless recording. Had we been provided the tour guides number for contact by voice or text we could have received some assistance in locating them. Instead our only contact were two emails found upon our return home 10 days later. Thus our $196 dollars were a total and unnecessary waste due to no direct contact with the tour guide. or any other tour personnel. Suggest you ask for an receive contact info with a live person before paying almost $200 for this tour.

We would like to clarify that the meeting point provided in the booking confirmation was correct, and the tour departed from that location as planned. The rest of the group was able to find the meeting point and joined the tour without issue. While we understand your Uber driver dropped you at a different location, unfortunately we are unable to control where third party transportation services choose to stop. Regarding communication, our booking confirmation includes our contact details, and we also send pre tour emails with meeting information to help guests prepare for their arrival. We always recommend reviewing these before the tour and reaching out if there are any questions or difficulty locating the meeting point. We equally appreciate your feedback about having an additional contact option for our guides, and we will certainly take it into consideration as we continue reviewing ways to improve the guest experience. We are saddened you were unable to join us and hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to show you the food, history, and local insights that so many of our guests have enjoyed during our Lisbon tour.
